This movie is entertaining and true to her to life to some extent, but really it's just more fictionalized and dramatized to make it more accessible. Regardless that half the shit in the movie really didn't happen, it's still fun to watch Sienna and Guy were great as Edie and Warhol.
factory girl was entertaining to watch and everything, but I think a movie about Edie and her life could have been so much better. and they could have gotten someone who looked a bit more like her, maybe an unknown. that would have made it better. it kinda tried to hard. I would love to make another movie about her life, a better one.
@laterthatsunday not the same drugs , not drugs of enlightenment , now speed coke and meth . efedrin comes into mexico from china , mexicans turn into meth and then kill each other for the right to bring into the us to poison our people and drag our society down .

@Thadmotor1044 yeah, what she and A LOT of women in that time were on back then (including some of my aunts) was dexidrine, which is a clean pharmaceutical amphetamine that was used as a diet pill and is still used today, and is basically what Adderall is, it just has a different use now, that being ADD.
@JaydeDahlbeck the only one is skanky is you , she was a sensation , she influenced every girl in the US with regards to fashion . she was as important as anyone .
@jocelyna38 she was iconic trend setter in fashion that exploded all over the united states , dated dylan and andy warhol among others . when you spoke to her she made you feel you were the only one on the planet ...
I STILL view this clip every single time I'm online... also, have the song on several of my various playlists. ( who'da thunk it was 'The Guess Who '? ) I adore Edie, and did like 'Factory Girl'...what a life! She crammed (too) much in her 28 years.A true original 'Superstar'.
@leannewuh Yes, and also, there are so many vids on here that I like and would love to be able to have then on my computer;at my 'finger tips' so to speak. Any info is surely appreciated. Thank you/
@suuuuupersonic just wondering why u think it was disapointing? i never really knew the whole story so i liked the movie, but what was it that u didn't like? the acting? it was too much fiction? the storyline?

They got it wrong... Edie's mouche was on her *right* cheek. It was a real mouche, she only used a pen to make it more prominent.
MowgliX 1 year ago
@MowgliX It IS on her right cheek. That was a mirror shot.

Critics panned it, but it is a really good movie. I now have a new favorite old "Hollywood" celebrity (other than Marilyn Monroe).
