It's not a cop out. I am a Bandster and I have lost 95 lbs in a year. I have had people tell me I wasn't big enough for surgery I should of worked out. Blah blah blah. I just don't let it phase me. It gets worse when you drop the weight girl...then you start hearing that you look sick and you were better heavy. I wish you all the luck sis!

U are soooooooooooo funny Lol!!!!!! I am a lap bander too. I had my surgery on April 12 , 2010 My starting weight was 234 & people told me that i didn't need surgery too & it sound like we have the same body shape. you tube is my best support system for me so finding u was great. Good luckon working out it's the best thing to do with the band see u soon on ur next video. I have lost a total of 19 lbs so far
You do not have to make a video explaining your personal life decisions to the YT. To each it's own. At the end of the day you will loose the weight you are seeking which will lead to a healthier, longer life for you which should be the ultimate goal for everyone. The only difference is you are getting an extra boost vs sweating in the gym everyday...LOL! Girl I am proud of you and keep posting your progress!!

If you can have a preventative method to help you from HBP, or DABTS. Good for You. cause 4 some people. Exercise & Diet DOES NOT WORK!!!!!

So happy to see your latest video. I was truly worried that something had gone wrong after the first week of the surgery. Stop explaining why you did what you did. The choice was yours...the end! What size were you before the surgery, how much did you weigh and how tall are you? I also have a fashion question. You wear the cutiest tops/blouses! Wear do you shop? I'm a size 18W or 1XL I can never find cute, sexy tops like the orange one you are wearing in the latest video.
you got me beat! I paid $15k. I am just over 1 year out and 75 lbs down. You are still healing. It is a time to learn how your new stoma feels. Yes, it is a HUGE lifestyle change and I am finding that the mental game is the toughest. Having the band is not copping out. It is about making a better, healthy life for yourself and take work. I always say it is 40 % band and 60 % mental (food choices/exercise choices) to be successful. Not easy or a cop out. .. as you know. Best of luck!

What I meant when I said "cop out" was I was just disappointed bc for once I'd like to see someone that is normal & not a personal trainer actually lose weight and be successful by doing it the right way eating healthy and exercising and what not. And I know you tried that but in the end ended up like everybody else and opting to get surgery. That's what I meant. So some people can call it "hating" I'm just simply stating my opinion. Obesity is a disease and it is very hard to kick those bad habits. People that are obese are not lazy. Obese people have a food addiction and when you are addicted to something it is very hard. So the next time you see an obese person don't make bad comments. You don't know what that person has gone through or is going through. It is just that a disease. I want to lose weight soooo bad. And it's super hard. It's so easy to fall back into those old eating habbits. I'm getting desperate but it all boils down to me eatting whatever I wanted whenever I wanted for the last 27 yrs of my life. So that's the hard part for me.
