Just in addition, I think a lot of people are allergic to the actual notes in many fragrance. Some of the more common notes that may make you sneeze are pachooli (spelling?), black pepper, and mint leaves. (Think pure mint, not sweet mint)
Just wondering, but don't 99% of all colognes have those ingredients, other than Creeds of course? I'm sure all of the colognes that I own have all of those ingredients listed. Guess I'm not allergic. Currently I own Kenneth Cole Black, Hollister SoCal, Azzaro Chrome, Antonio Banderas Seduction in Black, Stetson Fresh, Stetson Country, Usher Vip, Unforgivable, and McGraw by Tim McGraw. I'm considering buying Diesel Fuel For Life and the original John Varvatos.
Perfumes are TOXIC ! My girlfriend worked the cosmetics department of a major retail store and had to quit due to the smells making her sick . Her boss told her several previous employees quit for the same reason . Perfumes and plug in air fresheners both disrupt your normal hormone production .
@MindofaJedi__You are so right. It is shameful how the fragrance industry is marketing so aggressively towards young people today. When I was a kid, perfumes were mainly for older ladies who had been brainwashed to think it would help them keep their men! (That of course was a lie, as most men hate ladies' perfume!)
A lot of aftershaves and perfumes for men are designed as both a fragrance and a disinfectant.
This is because after a man shaves there is a larger chance of Staphylococci getting into the skin. So it will contain alcohol.
To stop you from drinking the alcohol and to avoid VAT they denature it with a substance known as Denatonium the most bitter compound known to man. Hence "Alchohol Denat"
Get it in your nose or mouth and you will feel it.
It's worth noting that it's not only synthetics that cause allergic reactions. Good ol' Mother Nature does her part in ruining some people's fragrance fun. The International Fragrance Foundation (IFRA) has been causing a lot of outrage by limiting the amount of oakmoss (along with a lot of other natural ingredients) in classic perfumes, causing tinkering with masterpieces like Mitsouko and Diorella (both great on a man, by the way!) A very controversial subject!
HAHAHAHAHAH funny how you are always here and not there when some of us need you for important things. As for you Mr Cubby you need to learn to pronounce names like come on look where you work man HAHAHAAHAHAH. Amazing vid though and the place is looking great I want to see it when I come out again
SunshineJay : Actually that nickname (mapuissance) looks French and means litterally "My power", so it would be pronounced "Ma-Pooee-Sawns". So Cubby, your pronunciation was close enough. Nice vid! ;-)

Less contamination = higher price. +VAT

Cubby, I just went out to the store with your list. I purchased a perfume for my self and a cologne for my boyfriend.
I've always been allergic to both cologne and perfume, and never even thought that it's likely a specific ingredient!
Anyway, my point is, today I finally purchased a perfume for myself that I can actually wear and not be uncomfortable with.
Thanks :D
