thanks for the comment. i couldn't agree more. wallace was from my section of the country....the south. i'm from louisiana. two things i don't like about this place other than it's got too many niggers.

1. it's really humid about 3-4 months a year, but the whole eastern u.s. in like that. certain sections near the gulf of mexico are worse than others.

2. it's prone to hurricanes where i live...on the coast. at least we have ample warning.

What Mark Steyn doesn't mention is the obvious point that multiculturalism grew out of the perception that expecting those immigrants from other cultures to simply integrate was somehow harsh and ungenerous, which was wrong. They came for the prosperity and freedom that our culture produced and their's didn't. You don't see millions of Westerners clamouring to get into India and China. Culture is what matters. If they come they should want to adopt our culture, not just cash in on it.
