Jeff Gordon Is the best ever so suck jimmie johnson and if it wasn't for jeff there would be jimmie johnson so fuck all the gordon haters and fuck jimmie johnson
I dont see why theres so much hate on Jimmie Johnson. I've been a follower since 2004. He is just as good as Jeff Gordon. Everybody hates because he's won 5 straight championships because he's been the most dominant driver the past half decade.
@jgfan24rox You hate him because you want to hate him. It's that simple, you can say it's because he drove fans away, or he can't drive, or he's arrogant, or he's whiny, or nascar helps him, or chad cheats, or whatever other reasons you want. But in the end, you just hate Johnson and you always will. Regardless of whatever he might do in the future, you'll always hate him, you'll always want to see him crash hard, get injured, or killed, just so you can laugh at feel a sense of victory.
@weaverracing96 no. I dislike him because of all reason mentioned. i don't just dislike him to dislike him. The years 2002,2003,2004,2005, and 2006 I was a fan. In 2007 he beat Gordon and it pissed me off, no big deal though still have respect. 2008 I was angry because he won 3. 2009 I said there was no way he could win 4 and he did and it left me dissapointed, and in 2010 the way he just won his 5th and didn't show any kind of emotion made me despise him even more.
im a gordon and jimmie fan. i dnt hate gordon but johnson has been so sucsifull he could brush gordon of his shoulders instantlly. lets face it johnsons better than gordon. jeff is a good driver just what could go wrong when jeff has the fastest car has gone wrong. i mean darlington ,texas, auto club, richmond and more gordon just has to step up his game. same with kyle busch you can hate kyle but please tell me what track has kyle busch not led the most laps and been dominate please tell me
the only reason he has won all the chases is because the fucking playoff mode of the last 12 races. jeff would've won 06 if it wasnt for the points system
Eroc, I can't wait to kick this little son of a bitches ass in NASCAR 05. This scumbag is going down in a big way. UP WITH HATE FOR THE FAGGOT IN THE 48!!!
@JoeCamel23RedDog8 you couldnt be more right... my family has said the same exact thing since his first championship. he is an ok driver but definitely nascar or someone has been setting up his bogus championship victories. something isnt right about the sport anymore.. sickening to watch that piece of shit win the way he does sometimes because you can almost call it from the drop of the green
Jimmie is just a Jeff wannabe. Jeff holds more records, more achievements and has more respect status than Jimmie ever will. Jeff has forgotten more than Jimmie will ever learn. Period.
@41dorian Uhh he's young, lot of wins, same team, 4 championships, from callifornia, and tries to be everyones friend. By the way jimmie aint winning this year bitch.
You do the math, bud. To say Jimmie's the best when he only had to be consistent for 10 races back in the days when Jeff, Earnhardt, Petty, and all of them had to be for 36, you need your head looked at.NASCAR is up J.J.'s ass.
@nascarfanatic2425 If it's so easy to win a 10 race chace, and Gordon is SOOOO great, then he should've won every chase from 2004 till now. And let's take away the chase and look at it under normal points. Johnson would have not finished outside the top4 in points since 2002. Still has 53 wins. Still the 4th quickest in history to get to 50 wins. yeah, you're right. Those are the stats of a total joke.
@weaverracing96 Hey, I'm not saying Jimmie Johnson isn't a great driver, 'cause he is. Honestly, he would've won 2006 and 2009 chase or not. This year could've been debatable, but I think you're failing to get the message that when Jimmie wrecks or blows an engine in the first 26 races, it has no effect on him, and he still beats someone with only 1 DNF or no DNF's at all, when he has like 4 or 5 DNF's. Plus NASCAR had the nerve to make the last 10 races all tracks Jimmie's good at.
@nascarfanatic2425 The thing is, that can just as easily bite him in the ass if he has a great season and a couple bad chase races. And I think it will eventually. And NASCAR didn't make the chase tracks all tracks Jimmie's good at. They made them all tracks they'll get highest attendance at. California sucks, Kansas sucks, Texas is mediocre, Dover is mediocre, all in terms of racing excitement. I like Martinsville, Talladega, Charlotte (mostly for tradition), other than tht idc about the tracks
@weaverracing96 You might have a point there, but right now, the only way Johnson can lose the title is if he misses the chase. He'd have to suffer Kyle Busch's "Hell of a driver, but lack of concistency," spell. Yeah, honestly, I know NASCAR didn't choose the tracks for the purpose of helping Johnson, and it's just a coincidence that J.J.'s good at all of those tracks, but still. It puts a lot of frustration on the fans of other drivers when their driver has an outbreak year and 48 still wins.
@nascarfanatic2425 And Johnson might, Earnhardt had slumps, Petty had slumps, Gordon had slumps, everyone great, good, average, or medicore, has slumps and hotstreaks. Johnson's streak will end. I'm a 48 fan, I know it's gonna end, I'm prepared to accept that because it's the nature of sports. I see all the 48 fans now saying Drive-for-6, and i don't think he can do it. And honestly, We 48 fans can only reasonably ask SO much from our driver. After all this, we have no right to be dissapointed.
@weaverracing96 Yeah, and I think Johnson might've already given a big enough gift to some guys like you when he broke Cale Yarborough's record getting 4 in a row. He managed to extend it to 5, which I thought was surprising and a little bull, considering Jeff had NO luck in the final three races and went winless and Jimmie wins the title. The crew chief changes might be good for Jeff, Jr., and Mark, but J.J/Knause would probably have to eventually break apart for anyone to have a shot.
@nascarfanatic2425 I was satisfied with 4, if Denny or Harvick had won in 2010; I wouldn't have been upset. I think that Hamlin will be strong in 2011 because he lost in 2010. And an old phrase in racing is 'you have to lose a championship before you can win one,' he lost it in 2010, so now he knows how to win it. Harvick tends to be inconsistent year-to-year, so I'm not gonna say he'll be a contender in '11. I think Edwards showed some strength that may be a sign too.
@weaverracing96 But Hamlin won't be strong. Why? He was second. Lets look, 2002 Mark Martin was second, we didn't see him again until 2004. 2007 Jeff Gordon was second, went winless all of 2008. 2008 Carl Edwards didn't will until 2010. 2009 Mark Martin is second, didn't win, and had less than 5 top fives. Hamlin's 2011 doesn't look too good I'm sorry to say.
@jgfan24rox The 48 finished 2nd in points in 2004, was 2nd in points going into Homestead 2005, and won in 2006. The 11 team is very strong, they won 2 more races than the 48 and were consistently faster over the past couple races. To be blunt, they choked this year. The 11 was the strongest car at the end of 2009 as well, they won Texas, Homestead, and they were strong at eveyr track in the chase then. Again, Denny choked at Fontana on a restart and crashed himself off of Montoya's bumper.
@weaverracing96 In 2005 he ended the season 3rd in points. 2004 he was second after the Ford 400 and what happened the next year... a few points out of the lead and wrecks. He then was dropped to third, Biffle to second. Biffle did nothing in 2006.
@jgfan24rox Yeah, but the 48 didn't fall off of the map, which is what we were talking about. Roush has NEVER been a consistent year-to-year threat. And to be honest, Childress always has trouble with consistency. I just think that the 11 will be strong. I think we can all agree the 48 will still be strong. I don't think the 48 will get 6 in a row, but I think he'll safely make the chase. Biffle and Edwards have a good chance to give Roush a good showing. And the 18 is too unpredictable.
@weaverracing96 Yeah, I mean Kyle's got the heart, and the talent, but sometimes he drives like a total dumbass. Some people claim that Kyle would've won 2008 had there been no chase. I actually looked that up, and the top two would've been:
1. Carl Edwards
2. Jimmie Johnson
So Kyle wouldn't have won chase or no chase. He always seems to choke the final 10 races.
@nascarfanatic2425 Last year he missed the chase by around 7 points or so. Earlier in that year, he purposely blew his engine up on pit road at Chicagoland by driving down pit road in 1st gear at 10,000rpm bouncing off of the rev limiter. This year, look at what he did at Texas with his temper. He just needs to learn some discipline and control (over himself, not his car). And I think he needs to quit Nationwide and Truck series since I think they hurt his focus on Sprint Cup.
@weaverracing96 Yeah, Kyle's got the talent, but he's an idiot. If he could use his head as much as he uses his hands and feet, he'd probably have two Cup championships already. and I can't agree with you more about getting Kyle out of the Nationwide and Truck Series'. If he can just focus on cup and give some younger drivers a chance to shine in NASCAR's AA and AAA leauges, he might actually be a fierce competitor.
@jgfan24rox I think Johnson got 4th, actually. Carl Edwards was tied with Biffle for second in 05. I can't remember what that year's standings were in the end, but I do remember the top 3 were Stewart, Biffle, then Edwards.
@weaverracing96 I'm just praying to God that the @24 team has something to look forward to in 2011. I think his new car looks sweet. Reminds me of his old Superman car, hopefully he can drive like he's Superman. lol Plus, I think the crew chief changes with Jeff, Jr., and Mark could all help. IDK how Mark and McGrew will work, but I think Letarte is a great crew chief for Jr., and Jeff and Alan should figure it out pretty quickly.
@cameron23231 If you're going to respond to a conversation that has been providing various points and counterpoints from both sides of the debate. Don't do so with one stupid sentence/statement. At least try to sound intelligent and informed.
