In the Philippines, people eat dogs as well, not only in China. Seriously, our next door neighbors in upper QM subd., Baguio City, eat their own dog pets, no lie. I don't know about the baby part though. Sometimes, after watching some of your videos, I want to own a dog again. The only part I don't like it to take care of them daily. I'm too busy nowadays.

As far as I know, the sneezing is something that dogs would normally do as a way of clearing out so they can get a better scent of something. But domestic dogs seem to do it in a social situation, so it may be enterpreted differently for that.

But don't loose faith. My 11 years old (currently RIP :( ) cad named "Lucky" disappeared for almost a year when he was 6. We were sure that he was dead but he just casually came back home a year later. Had quite bad scar on his face though, other than that he was perfectly healthy.

2 years later he did it again for 6 months. But sadly when he was 11 he died of nose infection :(. Before we noticed it was too late.

Baby eating must be some sort or rumor, as for dog eating, you must understand that the common folk in China were always starving for most of China's history, that's why they eat almost anything. But them eating dogs don't necessarily make them sick people because they do not normally own dogs (dogs were mostly owned by nobles and royalty) and so there is no emotional attachment with the creatures.
