I freakin' LOVE how this song uses the classic sega genesis sound effects and remixes it so perfectly. Sega needs to bring this kind of music into the games.

Pretty much my favourite track from the Sonic 1 album.

Scrap Brain isn't a great tune, but one thing I do like about it is the way it changes halfway through (kind of similar to a lot of Mega Man 3 tunes in that respect), and I think this remix captures that change-up brilliantly.

And the use of the game's sound effects is the icing on the cake.

@GCD89 I have a PC version of The Sonic and Knuckles Collection, it has sonic 3, sonic and knuckles, and the two games put together. On the disc, it has all the wavs of music from sonic 1-3 & CD as well as all the sound effects from the games, so I got the FX from there. The only thing it doesn't have is WAVS of Michael Jacksons songs, which are replaced by different tracks in the PC versions of Sonic 3 (sucks right). Maybe I should remix one of those tracks...

This mix really sounds like something 'Hadyn' (guy who did 'Traveling Through a Dream', '3-Ring Nightfall', and a bunch of others) would end up with if he were asked to interpret the song. Still has the definitive WillRock sound though.
