クジラの食べ方ですが、クジラは刺身や大和煮という缶詰もよく食べました。肉の食感としては脂身を取って炒めた鹿肉のようです。あと年越しに汁物の具材に入っています。立田揚げもポピュラーですが、北海道では回転寿しにも回ってる所が有りますよ。私はクジラ大好きです。感謝していただいてますが、昔よりも高いから食べる機会は減ったかな？昔はパチンコの景品でおじさんが取ってきたのをもらって美味しくいただいた物だが。ああ〜またお腹いっぱいたべたいな。

@duffyshelliemay2010 給食によく出てた世代は懐かしさもあって好きな人も多いと聞きます。家は祖父母がそうです。10代の僕の給食にもたまに出ました。自分は北海道ですが、食べ方も地域によるみたいですね。竜田揚げは肉のようでまずまず美味しいけどよくCMである鯨ベーコンは苦手です^ ^;
好んで頻繁に食べるほど好きではないけど、食べるなといわれるとなんで？となります。全ての食物に平等に感謝ですね。是非物は試しに食べてみることをおすすめしますよ。

I suggest everyone, not only the Japanese, watch the documentary, "The Cove", which is stirring up controversy in Japan for a good reason. The whaling industry is of a global nature, & governed by international rules which every nation must obey, without exceptions. Even though the whaling industry may be an inherent part of Japanese culture, the Japanese should consider the safety of seafood consumption. The toxins found in seafood is unsafe to eat, this should be the utmost concern for ANYONE.

Japan also works with the International Whaling Commission. The ICR is striving through it's research to prove there can be some sustainable whaling. @ioai808 I do not consider Peter Bethune a terrorist. To me and many other Americans he is brave and strong..a hero. I consider the whalers to be poachers of endangered species and criminals.
I am not a racist. It has nothing to do with race. I am part native american, my wife is Panamanian and, my best friend is from Thailand. I allow my daughter to study Japanese art, language and culture. She loves Japanese music. I do not hate Japanese. I will argue with anyone killing endangered species.

1.whaling country is not only japan but norway and iceland.
2.whaling only minke wholes,that is not endangered species and has increased the population
3.eatig whale is the same as eating kangaloo or crocodile or dog or cat. it is one of their own culture
4.why do not seasheppard attack norway or iceland or canada ? like they did to japan. japanese is not white and did not fight back. I hate terrorism and racism.

Not true. Everyone knows the Japanese have been hunting dolphins, for food, within a cove for many hundreds of years.
PropagandaBuster, whose name is Tony, is not being paid to make his videos. He is disgusted over the bigotry and cultural imperialism being practiced against Japan. The videos are his way of righting a wrong.
People can disagree with you and not feel a need to be paid to do so.

Two years ago when I began writing whale-issue, like HunterYor says I was told many times "How much Japan govt is paying for you？" But at same time they teased me "Learn English！" So I always replied, "In Japanese govt there must be a great many good speakers of English, then why govt employee me？" :))

I live in australia and i got a little bit fired up to start off with at the newspaper article, but then reflected upon how one sided the media here in australia really is. For example i have never really heard of any other whaling company other than the japanese myself, and this is only the mainstream media like the news. Of course you can find other information on other types of media, it's just concerning that the big guys like ACA and other news programs are so one sided and at times racist
