No, I'm more of an embroiderier..I had this piece of fabric embroidered and was going to throw it away, because one of my kids put a mark on the fabric with permanent ink. At this time I doing the practices and decide will why not practice on this and see how it turned out. I have other videos of this banner where it wasn't quilted. I came out really nice and for my first quilting free hand, I saw how much practicing on the machine helped.

Wonderful , did you free motion first then embroider on top of the banner?
I assume it would have been a little heavy to put all of it through the embroidery machine.
