I don't give a fuck what anyone says, anything Cradle (Dani in particular) touches turns to gold!! Darkly was fucking amazing!! (Not to mention the subject matter is near and dear to me. Well near anyway.) Even thier covers of shit songs such as Temptation kick fucking ass!!! Sometimes I wonder if the Divine whisper in Dani's ear, inspiring the poetry that comes from his pen. Theirs just something more too old COFmusic that isn't present in any other metal music or music in general. COF for a brief moment in time managed to capture the Gothic melodies of classical music and blend them perfectly with the raw aggression of metal music. And thanks to this we have four albums of sheer brilliance, lyrically and musically.

@AstralRaven1928 I would agree. Venus Aversa was so disappointing. Where was the beginning instrumental??? I mean, honestly. trademark cradle. even nymphetamine had it, albeit it sucked beyond all measure of belief. I really liked Godspeed though. I thought Godspeed was very reminescent of old cradle. u had three instrumentals, they creepy voice, i thought the lyrics were very impressive, esp midnight shadows. It had very strong riffs, somewhat like Midian i thought. but maybe thats me.
