There is something so deliciously geeky about a Tolkien LARP and I LOVE it so much! There is something even geekier about filming a bunch of people LARPing this and in full costume out in a suitable location. So well done and just spectacular. I love this! The song is a great choice.

This video is fantastic! I really wish I had been there, even though I only speak four words of Russian. This LARP looks so lovingly detailed, so immersive, and on a subject I adore! Of course it's not exactly like the book, who cares. Beautiful work, from what I can see.

I take it the man with the black hair who is on camera a lot is Feanor. He's quite good! There's something very.. fitting about how he plays the part. Who is the man with the long blond hair, who hugs Feanor at one point?

Well, he went on the original journey there, with Ingwë and Finwë, so he saw the Trees. But yes, it would not make any sense for him to be around during these events, which seem to portray the death of Finwë and the Oath of Fëanor. Though his brother Olwë would be around, of course. I imagine one of the hugging scenes was Fingolfin and Fëanor reconciling at the party? (But I have no idea how closely this LARP stuck to the book.)

Hey, this is an awesome vid! What happened to the other two that someone else posted, the Prologue and the Tour of Angband, or whatever it was called? I _really_ liked them! If you have them, would you please post them? I have got to hand it to you all, this was pretty amazing. The nay-sayers don't realise how much effort went into this.

Cool footage and fantastic song! I have an issue with some of the elves, though. Most are beautiful, and a lot are FAT! Look at Lord of the Rings-there are no overweight Elves! Hobbits, yes, Men, a few, but no Elves! Feanor was awesome, though.
