@drvonfrie Stfu, Dan wrote those lyrics from "I remember a rooftop", what does it matter where he puts it? The whole Alkaline Trio - Damnesia album is about Matt Skiba wanting to show how they can express Alkaline Trio a different way from their previous albums, show people how they could be different. Dan is merely doing the same thing by writing about a song dedicated to his daughter, and a promise to himself.

I love this song so much, I also love the fact that I can't hear any autotune at all :-) I studied music for a year so I learnt how to catch autotuning and as a singer myself I know how it gets easier to sustain notes the more you practise :-) x

Sounds like some light autotune use for sure. Toward the end of the song, when he sustains his notes it becomes more obvious. Still a good tune though.
