Because right now it isn't even about talent, I think this team has no clue what it takes to win hockey games.
Komisarek needs to play his game. 17 PIMs in the first game (meaning he was playing a rough game) and he was pretty effective. Less than ten in the rest of the games combined and he's useless like boobs on a nun. Let him run people over and play his game.

offense was never the problem for toronto... think bout it who scored most of the goals last season... Blake did and they came in 10th in scoring in the whole league so i dont think burke thought it was really a problem with offsense so he mostly focused on Defense and Toughness
It would have been cool to see Kadri play. The only this is with his size, I wouldn't be surprised if he were already injured. Like the hit Stalberg took gave him a concussion. And Stalberg weighs 210. If Kadri had taken the same hit, he'd probably be dead (he weighs 167).

IMO Burke has done a horrible job of building this team. As each day goes by the Kessel trade looks worse and worse. When Kessel finally does come back into the lineup he's not going to have Marc Savard to play with.
In fact ALL the pressure will be transfered to kessel. I believe he will help the leafs win a couple of games this season, and by a couple i mean 2 games.
I believe he will be your best forward, but he will be struggling to get past the 30 goal mark.

Before I give my 3 moves everybody should realize that now that Kadri has been sent to London he CANNOT be recalled by the leafs.
1) Call up Jiri Tlusty...all he does is dominate in the AHL so give him a full season
2) Call Bozak back up....why the fuck was he demoted again anyway?
3) Sit Stajan and Stempniak.....I know Stempniak has looked good lately but the bottom line is he doesn't produce. Give the young guys a chance.

offense was never the problem for toronto... think bout it who scored most of the goals last season... Blake did and they came in 10th in scoring in the whole league so i dont think burke thought it was really a problem with offsense so he mostly focused on Defense and Toughness

It would have been cool to see Kadri play. The only this is with his size, I wouldn't be surprised if he were already injured. Like the hit Stalberg took gave him a concussion. And Stalberg weighs 210. If Kadri had taken the same hit, he'd probably be dead (he weighs 167).

I dont know what the leafs can do, or Burke for that matter, not that hes a good gm anyways, hes a hack. But its not like we can even say "Oh poor burke hes just stuck here" BECAUSE HES THE ONE WHO got them stuck! They had a clean slate and loads of cap space. 1 question about the "rebuild". When you think about it, this poor start is no real surprise as the only reason we were excited in the preseason was because of Kadri, Stalberg, Bozak and Hanson, and 3 of them got sent down, and the other 1 was injured.
