If you're gonna do it RIGHT, you gotta hold down those keys approximately 5-7 secs.

You didn't do anything. Windows key + E key is suppose to open the My computer folder. But, it's common sense that piling up window after window is going to take so much resources to the point Vista, or any OS that does this function.
