  • Put some clothes on gay

  • Muppet behaviour

  • gee some people are concerned about someone getting hurt ...its australia we dont use things that snap or towballs that giveway !! and if you wanna throw the kids to shore in crocidile infested waters well you do that ,,,we sit on the roof thanks :-)

  • @ 1:29-1:31, it appears to be attached to towball. However, receiver/towbars can also be overloaded if used for recovering stuck vehicles!

  • Im glad that landcruiser got totaled. those parents are irresponsible. Any smart person would know that if the rope gives way, those kids on the top of the car wont have a face any more.

  • @InmyJag so you would throw them in crocodile infested waters instead ,,i say sit on the roof kids and dont worry dad doesnt by shitty rope that snaps hes australian !!!!!!

  • @jeeraff The water was not crocodile infested you moron. your just an imbecile.

  • chain/strap will break long before the ball would snap, and besides you cant even see if he puts it on the ball or not. Not a safe pull job for sure though.

  • @NVMDSTEvil ; That's clearly hooked over the tow ball, & there doesn't seem to be much stretch for it to be a properly rated snatch-strap. Tow-balls can & do shear off at the threaded section & do superb impersonations of cannon-balls!

  • How is it clearly over the ball? There is no camera shot of the ball to tell whether it is over the ball or around the frame of the receiver.

  • @NVMDSTEvil You are utterly and completely wrong. There have been many deaths from Towballs flying through vehicles because it sheared off before the cable/chain/strap did not break. Towballs are designed to pull a vehicle under pretty constant loads they are not designed to survive the stress created by a snatch. Just google it or search on Youtube to see. Do not try and recover or snatch from the towball ever. Towball rating 3.5ton Strap ratings 5-12ton?

  • @Gitreal It is unsafe to use a tow ball, yes, never said it was safe to use them.

  • if that toe had broke someone would have lost there head,

  • underwear man to the rescue

  • i wasnt eny one drive the landcruiser lol

  • How is this totaled? My jeep has saw this before it still runs like it did before it went in and thats good

  • haha wtf if i was ther i would have made fun of the guy wearing the bananna hammock

  • dude with speedo's just wrong

  • dumb head idiot faces...hahaha go breath some water...NOT the car either

  • Missed the biggest one of all that would pull them out easier. Someone could have put the stuck vehicle in neutral or drive instead of park. Watch the video and look at the front tire when it comes out the water. IDIOTS!

  • @twenty8this

hahahahaha your 2 right mate the front wheel doesnt turn at all, plus where the front wheels got 2 it probably coulda been driven out, also he soulda been in the car braking and shit so it didnt roll all the way bak 2 where it started from.

  • jesus christ what a f__k up using a tow ball is a no no and the kids sitting directly in line waiting for it to tear off and kill them

  • poor cruiser

  • bogans

  • get a landrover :D

  • who the fuck is the guy in the speedo! who goes offroading in a speeding.

  • There's a river a few minute drive from my house. In this river you can drive straight across which is the way the trails APPEAR to go but they don't, you curve left then back right half way through. This dude in a BRAND NEW chev colorado drives straight through, the reason you don't due that is due to a large sinkhole in the middle of the river, it's only about 1.5' deep in the spot you want to drive. Buddy puts the entire hood of the truck under water and part way up the windshield.

  • lol i was in this car my name is doug and im the kid at the front

  • who ever got it stuck in the first place prolly didnt know what he(or she) was doing

  • 1. Get people OUT of stuck vehicle to remove several hundred pounds. 2. Never recover with a chain so when it breaks it does not KILL the people whose heads are sticking out of the sunroof. 3. Don't drive into water of unknown depth. 4. Don't let people video you in your bikini underware trying to save a stuck truck.

  • @JeffInDFW..... Don't forget - do not let that guys kids breed - no need to compound the mistakes

  • Man up and go into the water with your pants ON!

  • Don't know what's worse - sinking the truck or the guy in the bikini?

Should have opened the doors to let some of the water out so it'd weigh less as it got up out of the river.

  • Bronco 2 and a lake they should not b used in the same sentence

  • @ SILENTKILL1111 By bronco 2 i take it you're refering to the jeep? it's not a bronco of any sort nor is it a ford of any sort, it's a toyota land cruiser amazon

  • get the kids out of the sunroof you clown!

  • hahaha. poor 80 it didn't have snorkels

  • there's more steel in a tow ball than a 'recovery hook' i've seen plenty of tow ball recoverys, yet no failures. I think the fear just comes from underrated towing points common on small cars and some medium 4x4s. most of these big trucks are running hayman reece type hitches which are rated for 3.5 tonne. I think the strap is going to snap way before the towball comes flying off of thesee hitches.

  • idiots , yeah maybe if that chain did snap it would knock some fucking sense into you

  • haha thats funny thats why there are lift kits and big meaty tires hahaha funny stuff.

  • haha see if u want 2 4x4 get mechanicl injected diesel with a snokel go roof high no issue

  • no snorkel non water crossing

  • I know what thats like lol now you will do what I did and put a snorkle on.

  • thats why its a good idea to go to a traing course it helps and the motor would still be good only if it was not running

  • no snorkel....that engine is gone

  • not really.... it would only be if they floored it as it was going in and didnt let off the pedal, that was cause it to be water locked or even worse cracked... just take out the spark plugs and drain the iol.... then start crankin it

  • ya but it seemed like the water was high enough to just flow into the intake without it being sucked in. idk tho

  • it shouldnt be that big of a deal... there is always the possibility that the engine could be water locked... but it is fixable

  • HOLY FUCK!!!

    14k HAHA

    nice dude

  • alot of mr know it all on that roof, would been more funny for the vid is that tow ball cam flying back at the people on the roof!!!!

  • No snorkel in water that deep? ...... idiot

  • was that guy in a speedo? cause there are children present and thats not necessary

  • i dont want to sound like a typical youtube know it all. BUT them ppl really shouldnt b standin out the roof when they are towing. if that rope breaks OUCH.

  • did u see that rope jerk about too? id say the cameraman was not in a safe position should that rope snap and whip around... aswell at the ppl on top of the car... without a snorkel...

  • wish i had enough money to b that stupid

  • You said it...

  • That is just so irresponsible it defies belief. Do a course and learn proper recovery techniques. And learn how not to get in that situation in the first place.

  • What was wrong with that recovery technique?

  • No1 Hooked up to the towball...

No2 People standing up through the sunroof in harms way should anything let go or vehicle rollover...

    Need I go on?

  • You are aware that a tow ball is used to pull a mass that is on WHEELS! With a vehicle recovery not only is the tow ball moving the stuck vehicle, it is moving the mass that got the vehicle stuck. It doesn't take much for it to get ripped off and be a 2-5 pound missile, which will then hit one of the people on top of the stranded vehicle.

  • Umm did you just read what you said? Pretty sure cars have wheels... lol but point taken. But if you have a quality built tow bar and ball that is used for towin large boats up hills, over rough terrain etc. I don't imagine it would break towing out a car no matter how badly stuck... I imagine it would either not move or something else would break.

  • However its rare that you find a really high quality, big strong tow ball and connections, I see lots of flimsy ones when I go 4x4ing, that probably would break.

  • ive hooked my truck to the hitch almost every time never had any problems i dont think u would have to worry about that ... but ya if the chain breaks that could hurt.. its definetly not gonna roll over with a name like yours u should know ..... the problem was he needed to snatch that bittch harder...

  • If you have ever witnessed a ball breaking you would never hook up to one to snatch a vehicle out again! If you have a reciver hitch you can get tow hooks that slide into the hitch. Alot safer than a 2" metal ball flying in the air.

  • Most cars (in Australia anyways) have a towing limit of 3000kg. Some 4WD's come close to this weight. Add some mud then can over triple the towing strain and then take it up hill. Tow-balls are not meant to handle THAT abuse.

It would be better if he removed the ball and ran the strap thru the hole.

Better yet, install a couple of $20 rated recovery hooks. They just bolt on to the chassis.

And NO car should be moving with kids on the roof, let alone one that is being recovered.

  • yeah ive seen hitch balls break and fly back at the towed vehicle and shatter windsheilds.....not so safe

  • @stampy4x4 No matter what you say the kids on top are not safe just lucky this time. the truck could jerk and someone fall off the back and break a neck or worse drown.....your just an idiot defending this for what ever god forsaken reason.

  • @sirtubemaster Exactly what I was saying in my original comment which is shown above mate. I think you need to re-read it! I was not supporting the methods used in this recovery at all. I'm dead against what is shown in the video.

  • stupid cunts

  • dumb fucks serve you right, woulda been more funny if the strap broke and hit the kids on the roof

  • Thats terrible, oddly funny but terrible lol

  • Using the tow ball to drag a 2tn+ car in a bog isn't the best idea. If that comes flying off one of the passengers standing out the sunroof can say goodbye to their face.

  • @888BJ

Saw this very thing happen in an opposite lock safety video, very ugly indeed

  • Hydrolocked?

  • wicked brother. farking pwnage
