usually it takes one application per day for me. i had a tube on me when half my city had to evacuate due to wildfires, a guy at the shelter gave me $20 for the remainder of the tube. its a good idea to keep a few unopened tubes of this stuff in a bug out bag, addictive things are great for bartering.

Burts bees is better, however Burts is owned by Chlorox and they might have tweaked the original recipe for profit.

Why do they use phenol? Im guessing because its alcohol it is used as a preservative?

i've really noticed that and i thought i was the only one. it was infuriating and i stopped using it about 2 years ago....but these days i use a burt's bees one and it works just fine. no abnoxious side effects! :D

sometimes i can't believe ppl don't see this trend (most chapsticks lead to drier lips). thanks for posting a vid on it.
