  • @twininho1 It's Miracles. One of Jackie's personal favorite films.

  • has anyone seen TOP SQUAD. I think the movie was directed by Jackie Chan. Hilarious movie about trainee squads.

  • Drone4drums, Yes! Wheels on Meals is one of my all time favorite JC movies too! He fights with world champion kickboxer, Benny The Jet Uridez. (I apologize if I have the last name spelled wrong!). Kung Fu Magazine said it was the best fight scene caught on film. I love all of his movies with Yuen Biao and Samo Hung!

  • Cool.

  • Cool

  • I love how he bows to David. 1:15

  • is old movies some of wich he showed in the clip contain some of the most insane stunts and fight scenes i have ever seen! see "wheel on meals"! for one of the best fight scene i have seen between him and kickboxer legend

  • JACKIE CHAN > chuck norris

  • even his underwear is new! :)

  • Jackie Chan is my favorite movie star of all time. I wish he would do another action movie that's not aimed just at kids. I don't like it when he is portrayed as a nerd or bumbling misfit. I think he is HOT! I loved him in movies like City Hunter, and Operation Condor. He shows that he's still got the stuff in A New Police Story that wasn't released in theaters here in the U.S. Great movie, great story.

  • "kick his butt" LOL!!!!

  • lol i love jackie! he always has something interesting to say, never just lets the host do the work.

  • Jackie Chan = LEGEND

  • Shit, probably the scariest guest ever on Letterman.

  • The old chinese movies are the best of Jackie career!

  • Jackie Chan > Chuck Norris

  • Damn...he was way more action packed when he was younger.

  • Jackie is an absolutely fantastic man. I adore him!!! Plus I like the fact that he didn't say anything bad about JCVD :P

  • 7:43 OUCH.

  • I watch all his Chinese movies, even if I can't understand., I still enjoy it a lot.

  • You know what, you know you're from Hong Kong when you know someone who claims they know Jackie Chan.

    He is a legend xD

  • "we wil be back with the chilli peppers " dope

  • whe he is speaking about his worst injury in castle in Yugoslavia (in republic of Slovenia-now independent country)

that happend at castle "Predjamski grad"(next to the Postojna caves)in "Postojna, Slovenia".

  • It was cool to see Jackie throwing them good ol' drunken master sweep kicks!

  • I think this is easily one of the most memorable moments in American television .

  • Would be awesome if Bruce Lee had lived on and starting making movies whith Jackie Chan.

  • what the name of the song man its so cool.

  • i love all his interviews

  • What an intro.

  • I love how Jackie enters the show with his hands to his heart as if it's pounding. Then as humble as one could look, glances with a smile at the audience once they cheer even louder. It's just....I LOVE JACKIE CHAN. That smile to the audience was priceless and heart warming!!! 1:21 - 1:26

  • @DMKTENN: Chan is chinese...

  • this was in 1995..

  • Letterman is a talentless prick.

  • What a humble man!

  • who cares

  • is chan japanaese

  • @DMKTENN hes born in Hong Kong..

  • @DMKTENN He's born in Hong Kong. Chan is Chinese.

  • @TheSuperk25 same thing as japanese right chinese XD

  • @DMKTENN No Japanese are the people from japan..Chinese are from China. HK is special administrative regions of the People's Republic of China; the other is Macau. Like British from Britain, American from US.

  • @TheSuperk25 ur a fucking retard there the same thing chinese and japanese so fuck u and good bye

  • @DMKTENN

Um, no they aren't. Chinese =/= Japanese. In fact, you can greatly offend someone by calling them what they aren't.

Please tell me you're a troll, no one can really be so unintelligent.

  • @TheSuperk25 no not really...

  • @Scarnutzz what are u talking about?

  • looks like Bobby Goldsboro's brother

  • @bowfrog is chan japanese

  • dude jackie chan fuckin rocks

  • @NosferatuNite is he japanese

  • jackie chan is probably the best actor that ive seen since my child hood

  • @bizzarrogeorge NO he is not youre the shit jelous bitch

  • @PREZILLA2009 Wow. There must be something lost in the translation here. In America, we say somebody is "the shit" as a complement. I love Jackie Chan, so how about I just say, "Jackie Chan is the man!" Does that translate a little better? Later

  • @bizzarrogeorge Forgiveness.

  • @PREZILLA2009 No problem. Also, Operation Condor is probably my favorite movie he's done. I've always wished that Bruce Lee would have lived to have done a movie with him as co-stars. There is a rumor that Jackie played a bit part in one of Bruce's films, but the two of them as mismatched brothers trying to take down some bad guys would have been hilarious and action packed.

  • @bizzarrogeorge

he actually has appearedin 2 of bruce lee's films - fist of fury (chinese connection) - he played an extra as one of the students at the chinese kung fu school, plus he was the stunt double for the bad guy when bruce flying kicks him out of the window.

Enter the Dragon - played a small part as one of the henchmen - gets his neck cracked by bruce at the end - plus as the guy who bruce knocks out with the pole

  • LOL. The only Guy who sat on David Letter's Man chair. Jackie is the Man.

  • KICK HIS BUTT HAHAHAHA

  • hahaha i can tell he wouldve been extremely nervous. someone with limited english on a show like this. jackie you're one brave amazing dude

  • so much for his new shoe

  • damn he look so young...

  • IS Jackie the only guy who's sat on Letterman's chair aside from him?

  • David and Jackie are really good friends.

  • ha ha ha ha "even my underwear is new!!!!"

  • Haha, total pro.

  • YES!! KICK HIS BUTT!!!

  • he very funny in all his interview

  • lol awesome interview. jackie can have soo much fun

  • Wow he's so young!

  • KICK HIS BUTT!

    amazing

  • Good gravy, Jackie Chan knows how to put on a show.

  • the best leterman interview ever

  • lol

    u callin this interview!?

    haha!

  • @Danetto uhm, yeah, incredible interview

  • madness!

  • Letterman didnt look impressed with the way Jackie smashed the glass, did he?

  • It was planned

  • No wonder people love 90's TV. Loved that, thanks for posting that interview.

  • holy shit! 3:31 damn!!

  • man time flys, look how young he is and energetic. I mean hes jumping around and kicking props. I mean if he was younger today imagine how some of these interviews would go if he wasnt almost 60 years old. Much love jackie chan

  • I think part of the jumping and kicking stuff was because he was 'new' to the general American public. Like showing him off etc. Nowadays most people know what to expect from him and there's no need for him to do it.

He still jumps around in his films :)

  • Yeah Jackie Chan introduced hand to hand fighting in Hollywood. Before it was mostly Stallone, Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis and everyone else with guns going around and killing people. Then Jackie Chan brought in fighting and now almost every action movie has a bit of fist fighting.

  • May I please know the date this was aired???

  • The release date was February 23, 1996. For some reason this appearance isn't listed on his IMDB page, but I'm sure it's not too long before then.

  • Thank you!

  • @KKM121 i think 1997

  • It wasn't 1997. 'Rumble in the Bronx' came out in the US Feb 23rd (as Letterman said) 1996.

Jackie's US '97 releases were 'First Strike' and 'Operation Condor'

  • I really like the choreographed fighting in his hong kong films. They got that rushing and funny feeling to it. I hope to see that in some future american film with him in it.

  • oh my god hes hilarious.

  • I HEART JACKIE

  • jackie chan has such a good sense of humour

  • EVEN MY UNDERWEAR IS NEW!!
