Hi i Have maya 2009 and im using Windows 7 can u tell me please why i cant always see added texture ? I must render frame to see how it looks ... thanks
This saved my life! I was so confused on how to texture complex objects properly. Thank you so much!
The camera did move a little too much but I was fine with it. Try screen recording at your native resolution. Then users can just watch the video in full screen.
Hi, at the end of the video, the update psd networks button did not work, watched four or five times trying to see if I missed anything. Not sure why the image I drew isn't popping up?
I thank you for posting this video, and I understand that you have took out time to do this for free, but you are moving so fast and you are clicking so much, I'm lost. Its like you teaching this for a beginner but youre skipping around as if this is a lesson for someone who is very knowledgible of Maya. I would suggest doing tutorial as if the person you are teaching doesnt know anything, otherwise I think that you are going to consider something simple or easy to you and breeze thru it
Hello, first of all I want to thank you for this tutorial, it was great and taught me everything I needed to know. Tho I have a problem now I want help with if your still here.
When wanting to texture in photoshop I should save it after choosen attributes. Color and Bumb. In that list you have there its alot of alternatives and such but I cannot see a single attribute to choose from. The first time I entered this window I did see all those things, but then I did something and now I cant see it.
EXTREMELY HELPFUL I am in your debt. I've put this off forever, but the photoshop networks make it easy. Now I just have to figure out how to keep the color and bump maps lined up in photoshop while im editing them

@Zarbon66 You have to draw on the Lambert Layer or add a new layer under the Folder Lambert color thingi. If it's not that, then I have no idea ^^

how did you make it so when you got face mod you can click anywere on the face to select it ?
cus in mine there is a dot and you ahve to click on it to select teh face
zeejenkins 2 years ago
its because you use maya 08 (probably) and the face-selection is changed in maya 09
