it was an application on the 1st generation hacks called customize and when you click it a chicken pops up as saved image and from that you can change a whole bunch simple settings

Two things one the new firmware 3.0 has voice memos for iPod touch and two if u have the iPod touch 2g you can buy an iPhone headset with mic and it will work apple told me and I have it and it works great quality

My problem is i have tried almost all recording apps in my itouch (iProRecorder, Voice Recorder by Bear Farm, SpeakEasy Voice Recorder, TruPhone) and all it says is that they are not compatible with my itouch!!!!

My iPod is jailbroken, and it's not screwed up. I do know that it can be screwed up, but it doesn't really matter because you can always restore it back to normal with iTunes

yea if you were jailbreaking your ipod YOU would have to screw up in order to screw up your ipod. Just make sure you scan the jailbreaking software w/ AVG or something, because some of them out there will just kill your ipod, not jailbreak it. The website I used(and works great) is Quickpwn(dot)com
