It's so much better on the PC, trust me. Make sure if you buy it you use AlterIWnet though, so you can play on dedicated servers and play with a decent anticheat.
i quit BO back in March and came back to MW2 and it was a revelation! no OMA/DC n00btubers or tacknife runners, half the guys in every lobby were DECENT quickscopers, no nukes... and i realised THIS was the game IW had WANTED it to be but the community at large had fucked it all up by being cheap little cuntbags.
i really wish it'd stayed that way but all the Dbags appear to be tiring of BO and are slowly slinking back, fucking it all up again.
@MrRecords14 the only truly unbalanced perk in MW2 is Commando, OMA and DC just weren't tested properly because Activision refuse to pay for an open beta. if you could only use OMA to change from 1 kind of class to another (eg rusher to defensive) rather than just replenish your ammo it would've been fine and DC would've been fine if OMA/Scavenger didn't replenish Explosive ammo.
and regardless, the player still CHOOSES to exploit these loopholes by themselves and THAT is entirely their fault.
@TheGrinderno1 Danger Close its overpowered... wtf are you making excuses for? That's the thing, IW never patched anything in MW2, which made it horrible after all the eploits such as the OMA DC noob tubes were found. So why would anyone trash Black Ops? It's the player's fault they run ghost... it's the players fault they use the Famas, amirite? Then why trash any game ever made? It's all the players' fault right? ...no
@MrRecords14 noone's saying CoD isn't poorly balanced, course it is. CoD games are built around scrub classes so bad players get to feel beast and keep buying and then good players want a new, non-fucked version so they keep buying too but that in NO WAY negates a players responsibility for using, and definitely not for COMBINING, those classes. that's 100% THEIR OWN DECISION and it ruins the game for other players.
it's not all their fault CoD's fucked but it is at least 50% their fault...
@MrRecords14 only in as much as it offers them more choices for how to play like a cunt as BO only really has the one douche-class.
that said, in terms of balance against the other setups in the game, i'd say that the Famas/Ghost/2nd Chance/Claymore class is actually much worse than it's MW2 alternatives. a sniper in MW2 stands a fair(ish) chance against an MLC/UMP tryhard as long as they aren't shit, the same can't be said of BO even at long ranges when the sniper should win almost every time.
@TheHydrolics24 Noob toobing takes absolutely no skill at all. It doesn't matter how bad somebodys aim is, as long as their shot is within 5 feet of you..Your dead. Sound Whoreing takes a lot more skill, exspecially if you don't have surround sound, or turtle beaches. I can sound whore with a $20 headset, just by turning the game volume up.
The M4A1 is so sexy in MW2. Don't know if they can make it any sexier without messing it up. Same goes for the AK-47, but we'll see... If they can make all the guns have a proper fitting and proper sized holographic sight attachment instead of the same exact one on any gun, from pistol to assault rifle, in MW3, that would make me :) just pre-ordered and paid off my copy today!

@ugatube Noobtubes take no skill of course but if your actually using a real weapon it does take skill...Especially versus 6 people using umps and acrs.
just like you need to have a driving license in order to be allowed to drive on public roads, I think a 'COD license' should be mandatory, and you only pass the exam if you NEVER use noobtubes, last/second chance, or any of the noob stuff that's in the games.
yeah, I know it's impossible to realize that in real life.
@MysteryClown000 a headset gives such an advantage, i would like to see how he plays without it. Just from this gamepley you can see how much it helps.
