  • How does this fit on your computer?

  • electricity bill will make you jizz rainbows.. but if you can afford it you probably can pay the bills...

  • For a thousand bucks they could at least put in a copper rad! I'm currently working on a DIY external water cooling system from an old big tower case and a car radiator. I just need to buy a pump and some tubing now.

  • LOVE YOUR END THEME BTW.

Thanks for this, I may very well get this system if I can, where would you recommend I get it for a decent price? I like in the UK, Scotland to be precise!

  • Would suck if the hose busted!

  • Thanks for the video. Consumer PC modding is getting so hardcore than soon enterprise will be adapting consumer products for industrial applications :P.

  • how much for this cooling system

  • I love over killllllllllll.

  • so where does the hard drive go? xD

  • discontinued =/

  • I think the Koolance ERM-3K4U5 is already discontinued.

  • over killlllllllllll

  • this gives me a boner

  • it dosent make sense to me to have the rad infront of the resavoir.

  • Comment removed

  • Very nice for a GTX 480 SLI setup overlocked.

  • @103959770979 580 !!!!!!!!

  • @Kastraelie All my blocks, Swiftech for cpu and nb, and my CK gpu block are copper. So...

  • OH NO, deal smasher...ALUMINUM

  • Made for freaks?

  • man joojooo

    i love you intro

created the intro as you help me create a well?

  • Where can you buy this unit ? I checked the Koolance site and there is absolutely nothing about this unit , is the ERM-2K3UCU(3U) just a newer model ?Can you test it please .

  • That watercooling system is kinda over kill.

  • i need a fast reply please! does the water cooling system like leak, spoil or have holes/cuts(material, etc) , making it easier to spill all over the inside of the computer? im very useless when it comes to this kind of stuff and im gonna build my owm computer soon.

  • Is liquid cooling worth it if you have a case with large fans on each side? Lets say for a Phenom II X4 925 (2.8GHz) with no overclocking, and a GTX 460 Graphics card.

  • is the safe to use cuz tons of people go to my uncle repair shop to repair there motherboard cuz of liquid cooling

  • @kenth65 They're fucking tools if it leaked on then. You're supposed to leak test for 48 hours with the entire system shutoff except for the pump.

  • this is as old as shit. improvements have been made check out koolances new external systems like this, and you wont have any corrosion problems=)

  • You sound welsh... Are you? :D

  • @umpalumpa101909 : originally....Yes.

  • @trubritar cool

  • @trubritar You should give me a gaming rig :)

  • @trubritar Master Trubritar, this Koolance ERM-3K4U5 is build just to cool processors? it seems a really good external liquid cooling system, but is just the best or is any better but to cool either cpu and gpu??

Thank you very much for this video

  • isnt that a bit too much for a pc how on earth do you put 5 pairs of tubes in a case , and isnt this sistem special order and worth more than 1000 dollars , a bit too mucho there is a smaller version with one pump or not?

  • @saguerraty yes all the newer models are in fact one pump with similair cooling potential (2k watts)

  • what a monster

  • Is there a completely better and easier alternative other than liquid cooling to keep your components that cold?

  • @Lonewolf3515

not really, nothing will beat water cooling (except TECs, phase change and liquid nitrogen, but all of those are even more complicated)

your best bet is a big case with lots of fans, a noctua NH-D14 for the CPU and the best air cooling solution available for the GPUs. i toyed with the idea of a cold air feed directly to the graphics cards. that way you could get more even airflow to an SLI/crossfire setup.

  • OMG $1400 :)

  • im pretty sure that this guy has a brown accent :)

  • $1300-$1400 us

  • what this beast costs ???

  • @shivamchauhan19 £800 sterling

  • hey just make a mini computer place like build 5 computers and cool them with that massive cooler thingy lol xD

  • Hey trubitar whats your view on the ERM-2k3u version?

  • i bet it costs no more than $400 to build. At $1400, its good if you have bottomless pockets. For the average joe, it best to go with other units.

  • $1,399.99 overkill for 1 pc imo, especially considering the flow rate.

    Pro for server rack cooling

  • Trubritar your vids are awesome! Do you think the GTX480's will work in a 4Way-SLI configuration on that EVGA motherboard?

  • seems dangerous if it leaks inside the computer

  • Isn`t aluminum and copper a huge disaster?

  • This is true, mixed metal systems will quickly corrode. You can use nickel plated blocks with aluminium radiators with no ill effects. In any situation though, even full copper systems, it is always recommended to use a good quality coolant with corrosion inhibitors.

  • @trubritar

    That's 100% Trubi !

Was just talking about that on your forum to another member. Though there are skeptics who "swear" nickle plating "lessens" thermal transfer... but I haven't found that to be the case yet.

  • @trubritar hey, would u by any chance make a video on how to install water cooling on a asrock 890gx extreme 3 motherboard, i still cant work my motherboard out.

  • @headjumper92 Aluminum and copper are a bad idea due to dissimilar metal corrosion. That being said, dissimilar metal corrosion is when the two different metals are in contact. Having them in the same system is fine as long as they don't come in contact with each other.

  • @headjumper92 contact with copper yes. contact is key word.

  • some people say that koolance had a bad history in the liquid cooling industry. is that true? and has that changed?

im looking into buying a water cooling kit, but i dont know which brand to buy. can you give me some other options?

  • 1,400 bar, jesus hats off trub! id get my balls chopped off for buying that.

  • i would have been interested in seeing how the setup looks outside of both cases.

  • Ahhhh...ME!

    Trub

  • @trubritar what watercooling did u use with the 5970 waterblock

the res XT ? or this thing

  • I used the ERM-3K4U5 (this one)

  • @trubritar Awesome response :). Great bit of kit tbh. How's the noise factor?

  • I like how people hijack infomative videos with crap videos of there shit systems.

Man get a life and stop playing gay music.

  • Dude the audio and video tracks are so out of sync I can't watch the video.

  • By the end of the video, the audio is a full 25 seconds ahead of the video.

  • yeah...gotto love youtube...

    works great ATM though..

  • A PC Today....

    And

    Tomorrow a Car Radiator....

Damn , looks like a car radiator now with the liquid cooler >_>

  • God damn.

If I ever strike it rich and I have enough extra moolah to buy top end computer gear, I'm getting this to keep it working at top speed.

  • hey... What is the name of band and song at the end of this video? Thanks

  • Sacrifist...

  • It allows you to over clock your items greater than getting an air cooled system

  • i really have to ask, what's the point of liquid cooling when you still have to hear the noise from those fans?

  • Seriously? Well water has 40 times as much heat absorbtion and 10 times as little thermal resistance as air. And no, with a system that big you could turn the fans to their lowest setting >20dba would be the noise produced, and still get very sufficient cooling. The best air cooler in the world is easy rivaled by the cheapest watercooling system in the world. Air could get an OC'd HD5970 @ 1000/5200 down to 80 at full load, where as liquid can drop it to 40, and phase change can drop it to -15.

  • Plus every 10 degrees you drop your components, its lifetime doubles. so drop it 40 degrees and its lifetime extends 16 fold.

  • liquid cooling had entered my peripheral although the cost didn't seem worth it. with your assertions in mind, i will now seriously consider it in my next build.

    thanks for the info.

  • or getting Feser XChanger Triple 120mm

  • what your Temps on your CPU alone in the loop?? im thinking buy that koolance or Chiller

  • this system is confusing the shit out of me.

  • is it best to liquid cool graphic cards or just get the overclocked edition? I mean if you can buy a gtx 285 at 702mhz, what can you do by watercooling it? go to 800mhz?? I

  • Watercooling would give it better temperatures, looks nicer, plus it's quieter. Since it has better temperatures you can overclock it as it's still stable.

  • it depends

    :P

  • with the overclocked edition it can go even further

  • this is an amazing system, too bad it costs a shitload of money :p

  • This watercooling system is horrid.

  • Why are there so many pumps? I don't know but seems to be like a very extravagant setup.

  • For that kinda money you could get three separate loops with a quad feser radiator, all compressions, and ek waterblocks...

  • mad

  • $1,339.95 on the Koolance site...ouch!

  • I'd rather have a 300 db fan on my computer than to pay this ridiculous price for some water cooler.

  • trub wheres ur hd 5870cf review???

  • i do agree with trubitar it looks like a very good watercooling system , your videos help me alot=D

  • thats another rig you got to hall around who wants another thing of metal might as well build your own station for this kind of stuff plus this looks like beta they could end up reszing it and making a much smaller unit...

  • wtf 20 cpus cooled a same of one unit

  • looks awesome but fuk that for cost hehehe.

  • Agree with Stealth and Sacred.... honestly people do ur research.

  • Man that's a piece of JUNK.

Word to the wise: DO NOT BUY ANY WATER COOLING HARDWARE WITH WATER-SIDE ALU.

Ideally you want to use only copper and/or brass, because when you have copper/brass in a loop with aluminum, you WILL end up having issues with GALVANIC CORROSION. Look it up.

  • I tried to tell these people that and got FLAMED. almost ten years water cooling here everyone, trust me, don''t even think of buying this.

Over priced, REALLY bad materials, water shares all 5 loops, so many things wrong with this I don't have enough characters. You can buy top of the line WC equipment for half the price, get twice the performance, and would last a long long time.

    Total garbage.

  • Is that the small anode large cathode theory?

  • 1400 american dollars.

  • looks really awesome, how good does it perform ? and how expensive is it ?

  • looks sweet, s hame i was modding rads in :S How much will it be?

  • How much does this cost?

  • No way in HELL am I spending even HALF the cost of this thing on my WC set up. Still extremely cool tho!

  • WOAH

  • Thank you Trubitar for fulfilling my request to review this unit! As always great video.

  • can I use this as an AC ?

  • correct me if i'm wrong, but using this basically appears that you have two pc's next to each other?

  • How loud is that thing with 6 fans????

  • i have 8, not to loud not high fan speed though

  • is 4-way sli with gtx 285 possible ?

  • only w/ the evga classified gtx285. none of that matters nemore cuz the new cards are comming. ati is releasing on sept 23

  • yes on new mobo from evga

  • what is the song at the end trub

  • 5 loops in one system thats crazy :D

great vid as usual trub :)

  • trub are you going to test the evga x58 4 way sli?

  • Yes...if there is enough interest...

  • Oh I bet there is!

  • Now that is what you can use for extreme overclocking!

  • do you ever have to change the water?

  • thats what I want to know!

  • Yes, I would recommend changing the coolant at least every 12 months...

  • Great

  • Now this is phenomenal

  • oh yay it costs only 1339.95 $ :D

  • Thats not Cheap xD

  • 3kW wtf the biggest psu is only 1.6 wtf. how can electronics ever make that much heat?

  • looks good...but no performance test? :(

  • beast must of cost a fortune

  • Awesome, finally you reviewed it... :-)

  • dang what a set up, fantastic video!

  • amazing piece dude great work 5/5

  • trub nice vid once again.

I cant wait for the hd5870 review!

  • Stunning piece of kit indeed!!.

    Another 5/5 vid too!!.

  • sweet been waiting a while for this vid.

bit dissappointed that its not true 5 loop as they share the same res and rad. assuming of couse that rad isnt spilt into 5 chambers that is

  • phenomenal

  • Koolance Rulz but are still expensive in EU

  • what is the song called at the end of the videos ? and an artist ?

  • performance tests?

  • wow that Liquad cooling system is nerd porn!! Its so fucking great. But its 1.3k but i still think its worth it if you got the extra cash:)

  • i was very confused, until i saw it was a whole LCS system!

  • what about the hard drive water cool that to

  • EXTREME Happy face :D

  • very cool

  • Nice!

  • Why didn't we get a comparison of stock cooling temps vs. the water system temps? The review isn't complete without them in my opinion.

  • Koolance has done it again!

  • Om nom nom nom

  • That thing is beyond beast.

  • is it trubitar approved though we don't even know?

  • Only need one word

    EPIC

  • EPIC Yes lol!

  • I want one!

  • Oh god I want one...

  • that is huge ,i hope it doesnt need water cooling itself

  • hey Xigmatek i know you

  • Wow!

    Absolutely Phenomenal!

    Thanks!

  • for a second there i thought i was looking at some exotic car radiator assembly... Totally absurd!

  • Koolance watercooling = Complete garbage.

I don't even know why people waste their money on this stuff. They make nice fittings and that's about it.

  • You're just jealous...

  • Excellent vid but I'd like to hear the thing running and what temps did you get?

  • Lmao... $1300 for an LCS with a radiator that's not even made of copper. Gotta love these KoolCrap products!

  • hehe, tilted back like a corvette rad xD

  • Awesome!

  • my god that is awesome!!!! i want one..

  • O.O if i could afford one of these.... o boy.

  • Does anyone know the name of the song at the end of his videos?

  • click link

  • dam that is a MOnster water cooling kit

  • 20 cpus.wow pretty cool

  • Man. I'm always afraid of using liquid cooling due to leakage problems.

  • Been on water for 8 years+ and never had a problem. Just use common sense and you will not have a problem.

  • k. Cuz some guy told me that if it's not factory installed it's guaranteed to leak within a year...

  • Yes, Because the magical factory elf's sprinkle magical pixie dust that makes it immune to leaks.

  • Yes, because I leak test my own watercooling system for at least 24 hours before running the main components.

  • Water cooling is not that I hard I did my first this yr. Have a classified limited edtion so I went all out. I have no leaks what so ever. I have my rig on my youtube page.

  • check the price tag before you go all crazy on "i have to have it!"

  • this looks awsome but does it preform the same way it looks or can it be beat by a $500 custom kit ??

  • Interesting, hope to see some more videos once the 5000 series comes out

  • Water cooling addict! lol Nice one there

  • never gonna get water cooling.....i like fans too much

  • ...why.

  • Wait didn't you get that new Asus P6T WS Supercomputer motherboard? What happened to that? You not using it?
