‎"Translation studies, i.e. translation theory has been a small place of intellectual activity where some big minds have come in for a brief visit and made some intelligent comments, and a lot of small minds have worked forever, reproducing endless opinions and predispositions." ..So true, and, in the German speaking world, all these small minds are taking so seriously, almost dogmatically. Very refreshing to hear what I've been thinking for a long time!
