I actually didn't 'get the joke' while in the moment. Only when Data was done laughing did I realise that he had screwed up Picard's replicator. Perhaps also a clip of Picard actually leaving his ready room (of which there are hundreds throughout TNG to use) would make it seem more natural.

Eh... No... Still lacking the magic. Little improvements here would improve the overall wuality by a lot. For example, try matching the fonts you used to change what was on screen much better. I think the one you've used is just Arial. I'm sure you could find a closer match to the TNG interface fonts. Also,
