I just learned about Ann Wigmore. I want her book called The Sprouting Book. Just started my wheatgrass soak and also some black eyed peas because I wanna see how they compare with the cooked bean.

try germinating/sproutig them 1st. I soak em in filtered water for a few hours then put em on a paper towel that i can moist . This should have the seeds strong enough for soil.
Wow ,thats so weird. I wrote this like 5 months ago. By coincidence I have just began sprourting raw sunflower seeds from Trader joes like 2 days ago for the 1st time. Not in dirt but just in water for food. Peace
as we know during day the plant products O2 from CO2, but at night it uses a little amount of O2 to survive without light, but as fas as i remember this is a ti9me when some important process occurs :P checking in my books now....

how long did that take in real time?

i reckon it's about 40 secs - this is actually slowed to half speed - i think he uses those magic beans like in jack and the beanstalk.

maybe... plants have to breathe - in night they "produce" CO2 from oxygen... but if they have all the time "day" they.. die..because of suffocation?
(sorry for por english ;p)

Nice, one where we can see the roots! Too bad there isn't a constant lightsource, on the other hand it would die that way. Way to go, did it bloom?
xmentosx 4 years ago 2
does a constant lightsource kill sprouts ? over production? interesting..googling now...
