hey guys i just bought this to use as an digital agenda. pp say its the best pocket computer, can some1 please explain me why. and what are nice things to add to my psion revo? thnx>in<advance
The IR isn't supported by Microdick and neither is the Serial-USB adapter I have. I use my REVO plus all the time but I can't get the data off it any more onto my PC :(
I have Linux which supports it but it's too complicated to get the REVO to work with it.
@redmistpete well, you need to find another Serial-USB adapter. I didn't try to connect my REVO to the Windows 7, but I had a serial-USB adapter that worked in Windows 7 well enough. So, just try to find a Windows 7 compilant cable..
@irheo In that case, it wont work either; I have the Serial docking station that came with the REVO and a serial to USB adapter. No joy. I think they just not going to be able to work with Windows 7. Shame, I use it all the time for my writing.

If you are using Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate you can run Windows XP Mode. this will allow you to integrate it with W7
Googel for XP mode and folow the link to the MS website

@irheo Thanks - should that work through a USB to Serial adapter as well because my netbook doesn't have a serial connector? :s

@redmistpete well, that serial-USB connector is made just to add a serial-connection feature to the computers without it :)
