@Zach979 Yeah, I have also heard about that issue and that struck me as the most ridiculous and bit of a messed up concept idea that really bothered and concerned me of him getting solar radiation. I mean how can he get solar radiation or skin cancer from the very thing that not only feeds his cells but empowers him and makes him stronger? I don't know, that idea didn't make sense to me. I mean, in DC 1 million, he slept in a super yellow sun for a really long time and hasn't harmed him.

I hope they didn't kill Superman in "All star Superman". I didn't get a chance to get the issue, but just ot say if they did, I would be very pissed of because he's one of my very favorite superhero's of all time.

I think it's good that comics haven't changed based on both genders enjoying it. Everyone's different. Comics have fight scenes, romance, drama... Everything. And that's great because they cater to different people without attaching any gender-stereotypes to it. The old "oh let's put ponies and pink in it because now girls are reading it" is such old fashion thinking. There are ladies who love fight scenes and men who like drama. That's reality - and the creators seem to know this.

Nice work, guys. I'm not really sure there's a gender divide. I mean, both men and women are shown in comics as being strong and good looking. Aside from that, there are different stories in comics that cater to both males and females.

Nice reviews guys. It seems there was a bit of pressure to keep this one shorter. Interesting. While there's been a heck of an increase in female readership, I don't think it'll ever be identical to the kind of obsession that males have for comics. I would back that opinion up with reference to the kind of connection that men have with visual stimulus that just isn't the same in females. I don't think that females are excited by images in the same way that males are. I could be wrong.

well ill be getting ultimate origin and CONTINUE to get all star superman and kick ass but im dissappionted that all star superman is ending its the only superman book i ever and was getting besides mark millars superman red son in tpb form i get like all marvel books and some d.c like green lantern and recently batman because batman r.i.p the only other d.c book i got back then was superman batman but it wasnt all that great espciaaly sine i wanted to buy ultimate books instead. lol out of room
