As of right now, there is little reason to believe they will reunite. Play together or feature on each others albums, sure, but a full-on reunion of The Roses is unlikely. Ian and John are two old friends coming together again to be just that: friends.

in my opinion one of the greatest songs ever written.. cant say much more than that really, lyrically it couldnt be better, vocally it is brilliant and musically it is perfection.. Saw Brown recently in Leeds, he was fuckin amazing, hasnt lost anything and is a legend.. Like many id give anything for a Roses re-union, but if in anyway it wouldnt be as good as they left it i wouldnt want them to in a way, wierd i know but id still give anything to go back and see them in their hayday

obviously none of you dicks are true stone roses fans because if you were you'd realise that the writing abillity of squire and brown was second to none, and the contrast of brown's singing and squire's guitaring equaled themselves out. ok brown's singing was bad live but it worked. stop slaggin the bloke off and just appriciate one of the greatest and most influentual bands of all time.

My prior comments were aimed at 'others' who claimed to have heard them but weren't even old enough to have been at Blackpool, Spikeisland, and Glasgow Green. Their crystal balls don't work as well as they think they do.

@wideheadofknowledge That may be true, but I thought a big part of the thing with the 'Roses was it was like your mate or some bloke off the terraces was the lead singer, Brown's singing might not be 'good' in the sense of 'professional singing' etc but it's the way his singing works with the lyrics and the music....it's the combination. Especially on the second album, the guitar 'sound' and his singing compliment each other very well. There is ego but it's not pretentious. In my view.
