@17Ziek 1) i bred it in emerald and migrated it at level 50. 2) i bred it shiny using rng abuse (i didn't use AR on my emerald). 3) i did use AR to get 95x each tm. have fun with your surfing pikachu :-)

Give that Gengar Shadow Ball and it's perfect. I mean, Spore for putting things to sleep (You thought Hypnosis was bad look at 100% accuracy), Nasty Plot, screw Focus Blast and have Aura Sphere, and Shadow Ball for perfect coverage. Man, that thing is boss!

@evilleprachaun8cake your last guess is right - i used a smeargle - he is the only pokemon that can get such a weird combination of moves (only a couple of pokes learn spore for example)!!
I think I encountered something eerily similar to this.
It was in Pearl, and I had a Ditto imported from FireRed.
I fought that Hiker guy with the Onix on Route 205, and I transformed into his Onix. After the battle, my Ditto knew Transform, Rock Throw, Rage, and Bind.
It was back around mid-2007, I think..I still don't know how it happened.

I made a Shedinja with Endevour, Quick Attack, level up learned Shadow Sneak, and Recycle (that Focus Sash is one time use; why not get it back again?) with max speed and attack.
Dark Void, Nightmare, Superpower and Swords Dance on a Trapinch with Arena trap. Send it to sleep and into a nightmare and arena trap stops it escaping! Superpower reduces attack and def but swords dance boosts it beyond the norm!
The biggest thing I would probably use it for is giving poor Flareon a few moves to keep it from always being overshadowed by Arcanine (I'm thinking Dragon Dance and Flare Blitz)

My legit shiny Smeargle (shiny Smeargle looks exacly the same but its tail tip is red not green) that know Transform, Mimic, Metronome, and Mirror Move.
Cool glitch; thanks for the guide. I'm going to put together a moveset for Swellow holding a toxic/flame orb with the move spore. Since it can outspeed almost anything and has guts, it should be pretty good. I'm thinking about trying for a sheer cold machamp too, but that to me almost seems to cheap, even if it's just for the battle frontier. XD
@BozoTheBear Was finally able to get past the 42nd battle in the battle castle, and beat Darach for the 2nd time. It's a shame I can't use the flame orb in the battle arcade though.
Is there anyway to make sure a Machamp would get the No Guard ability when importing? I want to make a Sheer Cold Machamp but don't want to teach it Mimic in Emerald only to have it just get Guts when it gets on my Diamond, making it useless.
@Starocean980 only thing you could do would be clone it before teaching mimic. import a clone and see if it changes. if so, then teach mimic to the clone, then palpark, etc....
@BozoTheBear Good idea, I didn't think of that. I was afraid I'd have to just try doing one with each of my games until I ran out of Mimic tutors and had to restart a game for more attempts until it worked. Thanks for a much more forgiving solution.
Especially since I want to leave at least one Mimic tutor to use on a Bagon so I can try some kind of crazy Dark Void/Explosion/ or other crazy for fun Salamence moveset. =P

If you got stuff like 99 on all TMs, who needs the glitch to give Gengar those three moves, lol.
Actually, in Japan, Transform would copy your opponent's Item. But I suppose you already knew that.
The Raikou-Entei is a lengthy process. First, I'll have to use Timid Synchronization on Raikou (many Natures would do for Entei). THEN, I need to capture both of them on within the same Save file, WITH good Natures. And that's not even mentioning good IVs or using a cool Ball. All very lengthy.

For mortals, spamming Emerald for Mimic, that will be annoying. Unless you're using Emerald to spam the Legendaries and Master Balls, etc. Then it's just a by-the-way errand.
But yeah, it's incredibly difficult to set-up. And it's banned in official tournaments, obviously, which, of course, drains all practical use from this tactic (if not going for an absurd Battle Tower streak aside from Wobbuffet, Garchomp, Salamence, and/or Double Teaming.
@madvorakCZ They already did. The VGC rules state that a Pokemon can only use moves that it has learned through level-up, TM/HM, breeding, tutoring, or events. Since the Rage glitch causes them to learn moves that do not correspond to any of these, it is not allowed.
@BozoTheBear Yes, but anyway I'd like to try some sets with many pokèmon, not only one... I'd like to do Air Slash/Aeroblast, Spacial Rend, something else with Salamence. Do you know if the glitch works with Mirror Move and/or Me First?
@themusicritic From the Move Tutor in Emerald. He's at Lavaridge Town. Teach it to the Pokémon you want it to learn and then just transfer it to D/P/Pt/HG/SS via PalPark.
@poopopoop - yeah that's a pretty awesome strategy. switch shedinja into something that cant hurt you, then endeavour on the switch-in. you should be able to KO with shadow sneak (or ice shard lol), unless they have their own priority move.

So... to get your machamp with sheer cold that you had in the other video you have to:
Teach machamp mimic
Mimic a transforming ditto
use transform on a pokemon you got sheer cold from (im guessing you had an articuno or something like that?)
but how did you get the other moves (gastro acid, spore, etc) unless you used smergle?

Cool glitch; thanks for the guide. I'm going to put together a moveset for Swellow holding a toxic/flame orb with the move spore. Since it can outspeed almost anything and has guts, it should be pretty good. I'm thinking about trying for a sheer cold machamp too, but that to me almost seems to cheap, even if it's just for the battle frontier. XD

@BozoTheBear Was finally able to get past the 42nd battle in the battle castle, and beat Darach for the 2nd time. It's a shame I can't use the flame orb in the battle arcade though.

Is there anyway to make sure a Machamp would get the No Guard ability when importing? I want to make a Sheer Cold Machamp but don't want to teach it Mimic in Emerald only to have it just get Guts when it gets on my Diamond, making it useless.

@Starocean980 only thing you could do would be clone it before teaching mimic. import a clone and see if it changes. if so, then teach mimic to the clone, then palpark, etc....

@BozoTheBear Good idea, I didn't think of that. I was afraid I'd have to just try doing one with each of my games until I ran out of Mimic tutors and had to restart a game for more attempts until it worked. Thanks for a much more forgiving solution.
Especially since I want to leave at least one Mimic tutor to use on a Bagon so I can try some kind of crazy Dark Void/Explosion/ or other crazy for fun Salamence moveset. =P

But yeah, that glitch is a pretty big thing, yet rather unknown.

Blissey used Transform! "What the f-" BOOM! Transforming into Shedinja would be bigger.
And I'm still trying to get good Natures on Raikou and Entei.

i like your idea of blissey transforming into shedinja (or shuckle could be interesting too - all that defense with 700hp. and sure, maybe i should teach my snorlax extreme speed - would go well with belly drum :)

If you got stuff like 99 on all TMs, who needs the glitch to give Gengar those three moves, lol.
Actually, in Japan, Transform would copy your opponent's Item. But I suppose you already knew that.
The Raikou-Entei is a lengthy process. First, I'll have to use Timid Synchronization on Raikou (many Natures would do for Entei). THEN, I need to capture both of them on within the same Save file, WITH good Natures. And that's not even mentioning good IVs or using a cool Ball. All very lengthy.

@PhilosophicalPsycho ah ok, although of course you can't use a TM to teach it those moves (except shadow ball of course). yeah i used an AR to get 95 of each TM way back when.....

For mortals, spamming Emerald for Mimic, that will be annoying. Unless you're using Emerald to spam the Legendaries and Master Balls, etc. Then it's just a by-the-way errand.
But yeah, it's incredibly difficult to set-up. And it's banned in official tournaments, obviously, which, of course, drains all practical use from this tactic (if not going for an absurd Battle Tower streak aside from Wobbuffet, Garchomp, Salamence, and/or Double Teaming.

@madvorakCZ They already did. The VGC rules state that a Pokemon can only use moves that it has learned through level-up, TM/HM, breeding, tutoring, or events. Since the Rage glitch causes them to learn moves that do not correspond to any of these, it is not allowed.

@themusicritic From the Move Tutor in Emerald. He's at Lavaridge Town. Teach it to the Pokémon you want it to learn and then just transfer it to D/P/Pt/HG/SS via PalPark.

@poopopoop - yeah that's a pretty awesome strategy. switch shedinja into something that cant hurt you, then endeavour on the switch-in. you should be able to KO with shadow sneak (or ice shard lol), unless they have their own priority move.

Hey, you'd better not have any of these glitch moves when you battle me before my tournament this year! I think this glitch is epic, although the possible implications of its recent publicity may not be so... I certainly won't want to fight randoms on Wi-Fi anymore. Anyway, good explaining you did in the video. Did you upload this while on your trip?

it's "legal" in the sense that you can do it without "cheating" in any way. but i doubt these moves will become accepted in the battling community.

you need mimic though, so garchomp can't use this unfortunately. belly drum salamence is possible though.

@LeShawn91 yep its a flawless timid gengar - bred it in emerald, with rng abuse. and yeah, it does apparently work in HG (as it says in the description).

Oh nice, and about the rng abuse, I've seen many videos on it. but im wondering if u need action replay for that. or anything else for that matter.
cuz what I've been doing the whole time is breeding for individual stats, then combine them slowly to make the ideal pokemon. It takes Sooooo much time. So any tips on rng?
