I wonder why,even though youre dealing with Veronicas old mentor,and Veronicas long lost ex-girlfriend, why you cant have Veronica along has a companion,or why in youre conversations with Cristine,you dont mention that you know a BOS scribe named Veronica that told you a similar story. or when you return to the Mojave,tell Veronica that you found Cristine.  In any case,I think this is a terrible lack of continuity by the developers not to include Veronica in a DLC that heavily involved her past

It helps if you have the monocyte breeder before you do dead money as it counteracts the effect of the cloud, and just cripple the heads of the ghost people and they don't get up, was annoyed I couldn't get the gold out, no stealth boy etc. oh well lol..

this dlc is good but to me its not the best. the cons are being hard to find ammo, taking all the guns clothes and anything else you have on you before arriving in serria madre once you beat it the dlc and leave the area no coming back. good story to it challenging but to me it could been a lot better without the cons i've mentioned. honest hearts old world blues are the 2 best i've played so far. i won't say its bad just saying be prepare for the chllenges cus of lack of things.

The companions were really fun but the biggest things that upset me about Dead Money were the two false endings that kill you. Read the first computer message but not the second! Word to the wise.

This DLC is amazing. Played it twice. Love the creepy music in the background and the characters, also you get basically infinite stimpacks if you find the vedor machine code for it

i never did understand y they did such a crapy job on Fallout NV.. while fallout 3 was the best i feel (but i still feel robbed (it was lacking in alot of area where i thought they could add alot more options and game play, along with hell lot of NPCs to talk to and more traveling shops. (i killed 1 guy thinking another would spawn or there b more. (my loss..) in the same game another got killed by bandits by the food-market... as lacking as the game was. i did injoy it for being my 1st

The characters are amazing. It is hard as hell and you are on the brink of death the whole time. It's a great thrill. However I think IGN is a bit harsh, though its a DLC they seem to be giving it minus points for bugs that existed already without the DLC.

Great DLC, I can't imagine all the scripting and hard work they had to make in order to make this DLC, there are like 1000 different speech options in this DLC and surely a countless numbers of scripts and other amazing things.

I would give this a 8.5...

To be honest this was a very frustrating and aggravating DLC. But that was what was good about it. I would run out of stimpacks and have to sneak by enemies, run out of ammo on my best weapons and even get my leg snapped off by the very annoying bear traps. . .But by the end of it I was a Mohave badass with eight bars of gold. I didn't love this pack, but nor did I hate it, I would still recommend it to fallout fans as it is a good experience. IGN, I think you made the wrong decision.

@marinmarinhola theres a glitch where you set up a shit load of mines and gas bombs at the end of the steps tht elijaha walks down to get to you at the end well after tht you go to tht blue forcefield and keep walking into it until elijah gets there. when he opens the forcefield youll fly through and you can continue to leave then the mines and gas bombs take care of father elijah

@Punisher1591881, you think that was fustrating? I'm called a great Fallout player by my friends due to being good at hardcore mode but Mojave Hardcore is nothing compared to Dead Money Hardcore. It's similar to Metroid Prime 2 Echoes where your always worrying about your health... only faster, your friends die, you die by combat, and the only places where you could sleep are at the non-cloud areas which takes a long time to get to. I restarted due to fustration on normal due to it.

I see why people complain about this mode: Is too hard. Yes is hard, it's mean to be hard and challenging , it's not stupid FPS/Race Game. Its survival. Yes it has few bad stuff (for instance map was confusing) , but other things are great: atmosphere, nice storyline, great characters. And most important: challenging game play. It's not this usual stuff: go there kill this guy, bring back stuff etc. This mod is just not for everyone.

I found dead money aggravating. Its definitely a unique experience, but I was happy to learn that you never ever have to go back. Running through it once was a new challenge after fairly similar quests on the Mojave. While I wouldn't have chosen it as a top NV DLC, it is still slightly welcome...mostly for the lvl cap increase though lol.

the first time i played it i absolutely hated it but i tried it a second time and i loved it to those who say they hate it and have only played it once play it again and it does get better. It has a great story, sweet characters,sweet loot, its somewhat challenging, and for me personally it was fun. OWB had a decent story,it was hilarious,it is challenging to undereqquiped players,great loot,great atmosphere
