This piece by Little Dragon shows that as much as they have a great 'voice' taking their music to new heights, the instrumentation and conceptual realization of much of their work is wonderful and beautifully compliments the vocal intonations. The layering and consideration to composition is staggering...just great craft!

Yes, she is one in the same. Undeniable voice, right? Hird is actually a producer though and she often collaborates with him and other Swedish producers by performing vocals.

@InternationalWaters OMG I knew it. I didn't know that about Hird though. Yes her voice is amazing. I kinda noticed her singing on the 2007 album sounds different than on the 2009 one. I like the 2007 one better. Her voice sounds so silky smooth and jazzy, but on the 2009 it just sounds different. I want to own all of her things she has done. I have 2007 and 2009 and Hird..is there any more?

Not sure which pieces you have in your collection but the Jazzier sound that you speak of is from the features that she did with mostly Swedish producers as well as Jafrosax... of the 37 tracks that I have with her (excluding Little Dragon material) she features lead vocals on: Hird; Koop; Swell Session; Stateless (Andreas Saag); Jafrosax; Solar Sound; and Sleep Walker. You are definitely in for a treat my friend.

Aah, yes - I understand now. The albums you speak of are Little Dragon albums "Little Dragon" and "Machine Dreams". The feel of these two albums (from her band collective) are from 2007 and 2009 but the pieces I mention are from before then. She has a jazzier tone in the other tracks.

Tell you what, as a matter of fact, all of the music that I heard from Gothemburg [Sweden] is very good.

Although Yukimi is not on vocals, Koop feat. Cecilia Stallin - Baby (O'Malicious Mix) is also a song that you will enjoy.

Saw them last easter in a small venue. i would say there were no more then 70 people there. I was so excited to see them and was very  curious to see how the music translated live. They did not disappoint one bit. She was perfect and the band was right on. l do believe they made 69 new fans that easter night in KC
