@kensaya Theres a reason for that, from what i read, Caitlin, while battle frontier head, had some kind of psychic power and whenever she lost a battle, she would go on a rampage and lose control of that power. So her butler took control of the battle in her place. In Gen V, she grew up and finally could handle her powers to that they wouldn't go out of control, and since then she became an elite 4 member. As soon as i find the info on this i will send it to you.

Diagonally, Shauntal's ghost super effective on Caitlin's Psychic and Marshal's Fighting SE on Grimsley's Dark.

Looking vertically downwards, fighting not effective on psychic and ghost not effective on dark.

Funny thing one can notice. Unova's Elite Four has it's own theme. Gen 5 will (most likely) have the R/S/E remakes, who also feature an Elite Four with it's own music. Coincidence? Hell no! This theme even as an hoenn elite four theme reference.

I dunno, I've always hated its slow speed. That's my qualm with it.

As for Ghost and Dark, yeah it's a great combination, but there's always some sort of handicap that the pokemon have or something. Sableye's stats aren't too good last i checked, and spiritomb's speed is horrible. good thing those can be fixed. Haha.

@KnightsofSin Almost everyone that uses Dragon-Types uses Gyarados, with exceptions, but its a generalization. Maybe it's because of his moves or something. I mean, I've never figured out Kingdra (aside from needing a dragon scale) or Altaria.

But it comes from Magikarp. How much bull would that be to have a weak fish turn into a Water/Dragon type? lol

Come to think of it, this whole theme has sort of an R/S/E feel to it. The synthesizers "wave" sort of like they did in 3rd generation.
