  • the transition at the end of the reversed alpha omega to the kazooish section... wow. it works absolutely AMAZINGLY.

  • Alpha and Omega.

  • I Saw Drones is so much better backwards.

  • The intro (0:30) etc. to Alpha and Omega in reverse is one of the creepiest, darkest, fucking most amazing things I've ever heard. It's like a song in itself, the noise, then the synth, the bass, and finally the drums in reverse and the song keeps getting more chaotic until it turns itself inside out. Just like the song played forward.

  • at 3:57 the melody is playing forward (3:27 in the normal song)

  • What does the voice say at 1:45 ?

  • Thank you, :D

  • What point does it say the satanist message? i want to hear it, thanks in advance

  • It's right at the beginning of Alpha and Omega where the text comes up saying

    "There's some hard-to-follow speech here."

    (0:51)

    (:

  • This made me cry.. It's just so weird. When it's reversed, it's still good and you even hear things you don't hear when the songs played normally. I think it's really scary, but oh my god, so good.

    I love BoC.

  • I know. It's like you're expecting something to frighten you, but it never happens. The anticipation is much more disturbing than what is revealed.

I'm probably frightened of this because of a nightmare I had that involved this type of stuff...

  • @bellebeatsyou BoC does this intentional, as do some other artists. Backmasking can be done for stylistic effect (as BoC tends to do), or it can be used to hide expletives in radio edits, or even be used to give political statements or religious beliefs.

In the case of Geogaddi, the album is dark, scary and very unnerving. Having numerous songs with backmasked vocals, sounds, etc. is all part of the sound that BoC designed Geogaddi to have. Just think of how much is added to the overall sound.

  • "I'm a god-darned satanist and, if I wanted to, I'd be in this business too." it says.

  • Holy shit I hear it! How did you figure it out?

  • I never noticed that synth in I Saw Drones was backwards.

  • some of these songs are in and of themselves reversals of another more rudementary and in some ways primitive or earlier aspect of their vision. Like a twisted interpretation of their own sound.

  • You can watch the next video by viewing the response I posted to it :D

  • I hear "I wanna fuck" at 4:55 ...What you think?

  • @frankp7400 Still can't hear it... Sounds more like gibberish to me. I believe when played forwards, the voice is really saying "yellow."
