  • That was superb

  • @trainluvr Thanks :)

  • amazing fast capture.....

  • @indiantrains Thank you :)

  • Looking out of my window I'm not in the mood to copy your ideas. I'm never in the mood to copy anyones ideas. My time will come - in the spring time.

  • @hennef53 Certainly a better idea...recording under hard weather condition aren't the best idea...when you don't have the proper equipment ! :P

  • @dashloc Taking videos is only my personal playground. I've got money for my old films, taken of the "Deutsche Reichsbahn" - 35 years ago. Normally me job ist printing pictures, writing bookes and articels, helping publisher with my picture collection.

Modern railways also, 'cause a lot off my friends are involved in modern infrastructure.

I take videos of trains wen there is no other way for publishing.

  • @hennef53 Ok, taking pictures of trains or videos until 35 years ago...it's a great activity ! :D

  • @dashloc ..as time goes by...))))

  • @hennef53 yeap ! ...at high speed ! :D

  • Yet another Dashloc classic... excellent work! Any plans to visit the LGV Nord in the future? Would be great to see Eurostar, Thalys & co through the lens of your camera!

  • @tripleseven73 Thank you very much, actually no plan to get there actually, but yes in the futur this could be a topic of a new video. :)

  • Belle video, and in fact, in that falling snow, it gave the most awesome element, the pantograph vapour spray! So, you were meant to get wet, and be cold, just so you could get those splended shots : ) So, it was no failure, but a 'Stunning Success' ;D J'aime/Like 5* plus Favourite : )

  • @noggin48 Hey ! Thank you, glad you like it, cheers :)

  • Great! You should be more times in Germany ;-) Next time with more sunshine! :-)

  • @meinefressen5 ah yeah ! could be a great idea ! :P

  • I hope you had a remote camera in the first shot. :P

    Some spectacular gradients.

  • @AndreiTupolev Yeah ! Maximum grade, 4% (!)

Not remote controled i just start recording almost 30 before the trains come, with this big tunnel you can hear the train from far away.

  • Amazing. You will be known as the Waterproof man after taking these great shots.

  • @ODS31 Thank you, yeap maybe, waterproof ? Not like my shoes at this moment ! :P

  • Very nice! ...maybe someday here in California we'll have a high speed line and Siemens trainsets...

  • @Studi037 Thank you,Yeah ! I hope too :)

  • Fantastic! Love the sound at the beginning. ICE is my favourite when it comes to fast trains design :)

  • @andrephx90 yeah i agree, the design of the ICE 3 and also the multiple power system are very cool ! :)

  • I am from Romania, but I live in Madrid for like 10 years now , and I miss (as weird as it sounds) this tipe of weather.

  • @megamanmadrid No i understand, hey dude ! There the galicia in the North West of Spain, sure you'll could find the same type of weather ! :D

  • @smpp8639 Thank you, merci :)

  • @ceaabe Merci, c'est sympa :)

  • As usual: Thanx Dashloc for standing in the rain/snow to make this amazing pictures.

  • @bkleijer Thanks Sir, OMG ! it's rained all the trip there ! :P Bloups !

  • In all the years that I have been a fan of catenary operation, this is the first time I have actually seen the interaction of the pantograph and the wire in the rain. Even with two pantographs, the second one still catches water on the wire. Interesting.

  • @GG1man Raaah' pantograph in the rain are always a sound and light show ! :)

  • at 2:09 you can see sparks coming off the left heading train's electrical connection to the wires above. Some smoke as well.

Would this be an electrical connector which needs replacing? or would it be damaged wires?

  • @BurnabyAlex I don't think, thats smoke, but just sparkling water like at the other trains.

  • @BurnabyAlex Like Railroadmovie say it's water aerosol kicked from the catenary by the pantograph. Very common by rainy days !

  • WOW

  • @DAVI2911 MEUH !

  • Wonderful:)

  • @VHM072010 Thanks :)

  • 2:04 awesome! 2:09 super-awesome!!! Fantastic video! Up by Enrico! Bye ;-)

  • @SemirGerkhan95 Hi Enrico, thank you :)

  • Awesome camera work, as always!

  • @cortexedge Thanks mate :)

  • Very nice work, well done JF ! if you'd stayed even longer to film the ICE, it is you who would become ice !

  • @silviopsg839406 Merci, ICE ? oui à deux doigts de pied trempés !

  • Magnifique !!!

  • @tgvdu45 Merci :)

  • realy cool !!! :)

  • @megamanmadrid Thank you :)

  • Really nice work, as always.

  • @Melco440 thanks mate :)

  • We are also enjoying your photography skills. Great work.

  • @angelspringsTavio Thank you :)
