@dashloc Taking videos is only my personal playground. I've got money for my old films, taken of the "Deutsche Reichsbahn" - 35 years ago. Normally me job ist printing pictures, writing bookes and articels, helping publisher with my picture collection.

Modern railways also, 'cause a lot off my friends are involved in modern infrastructure.

I take videos of trains wen there is no other way for publishing.

Not remote controled i just start recording almost 30 before the trains come, with this big tunnel you can hear the train from far away.

In all the years that I have been a fan of catenary operation, this is the first time I have actually seen the interaction of the pantograph and the wire in the rain. Even with two pantographs, the second one still catches water on the wire. Interesting.

at 2:09 you can see sparks coming off the left heading train's electrical connection to the wires above. Some smoke as well.

Would this be an electrical connector which needs replacing? or would it be damaged wires?

@BurnabyAlex I don't think, thats smoke, but just sparkling water like at the other trains.
