Sorry if you are offended....but I understand Josh White, Roy Bookbinder and Ry Cooder all covered this tune...I believe their genre is blues...It may not be a 12 bar, blitzing with solos, but I think it still is a blues tune. Thanks for commenting
I'm not ofeded at all I just didn't get How this song was a response to KIeth Richards acoustic blues , or the title Acoustic blues. THank you though for pointing out to me that when say for example a Rock and Roll performer covers a country song , then the song is no lomnger a countryt song it is Rock and Roll because a Rock and Roller covered it. I mean I guess that's what you are saying according to your logic.
I reckon this could be a good basis for debate, my understanding of the blues is that is has various facets from Chicago, Texas, Piedmont,Carolina,Mississippi,Delta Blues and so on. The likes of Mississippi John Hurt Bill Broonzy, Elizabeth Cotton, Josh White playing tunes like 'Make me a pallet on your floor', 'Bill Bailey', 'Freight Train' and 'One Meat Ball' were all considered country blues players but admittedly played the softer folkier style; but for me still the blues.
Sophia I hadn't heard the song until recently...I love the song....'Hit the Road Jack' I included toward the end is a separate song sung by Ray Charles, check that out also.
This is my stuff, cause Meat Balls is almost the national food in Sweden, but we need more than One Meat Ball ! If you play, it's good enough with One ! Thanks, GOOD !!!!!! Hmmm...
its a little cheesy....

How is this video in response to Kieth Richards acoustic blues video ? It's not even Blues ? Sounds more like Folk music.

Ya, it sure is, cause Mr Kemprad, the owner of ikea favour all things connected to Sweden.
