  • In Ubuntu I installed thr PVR version of XBMC and also TVHeadend. That was it.

    Setup TVHeadend first so it knows the channels, then setup XBMC to use TVHeadend.

    Can't remember the link to the instructions, but it was straight forward.

    Just make sure TVHeadend is working and detects your tuner card properly.
