@goromike - you are right this band isn't going anywhere until they feature the double kick fap-ness everywhere. :p This kick sounds heavily sample balanced in this performance. this kick eq and level seems hide the lack of dynamics in the sample, until the very very end, and then you can hear the boomy-ness and (bleedy-ness -) in the more live kick signal which may have helped the nois-y section seem more dimensional. also, check the mix on the Live from SXSW, so badass.

I was sad that the TBS network didn't show the entire performance, but it was still great. I've been a fan of this band since they were mentioned in SPIN magazine.
