You know, the level of prejudice and discrimination against people with mental illness really shocks and disturbs me. I'm a fan of Britney. I never cry during shows/TV's/Movies but I cried during this. It really makes you see how difficult it is & she's able to survive it with her head held high, still being amazing.

i haven't seen the whole thing, but it's probably the best documentary's i've seen.
I'm a fan of Britney. I never cry during shows/TV's/Movies but I cried during this. It really makes you see how difficult it is & she's able to survive it with her head held high, still being amazing.
In some ways, she truly is a role model. I love her.

Britney became a star so fast, she didn't have time for herself anymore, do-this-do-that, the paparazzi, the fame... she was robbed of her teenage hood basically, and now she realizes she wants something more than living the day-to-day celebrity life. She stepped out of line, wanted to have fun, the whole world found out and criticized her to a point where she went into a full-scale depression. I also don't agree about her sexual stuff, she was exploited, but she let herself be, so its her prob.

If you want a great example look at the porn industry and the comic book industry. They draw the women with big hair, narrow eyes, big breats (sometime mishapen) and VERY slender. I noticed one day (at a magazine store) that these porn stars....look like those comic book women. Look at Bratz dolls, the sluttiest looking dolls you can find. They look like those porn stars. I know women make more than men. But there was an article in a magazine that talks about how porn (sex scene's) the women are abused. I've seen 2 (to see for myself) and I couldn't believe how these girls were treated. Slapped, grabbed, tossed about. Men are turned on by this? Its abuse. Yea that's true but the women are the ones doing all the work. I did something similar to a study where we were looking at the porn industry and clearly the videos are all designed for men...you never see the men's face, never hear the men, it's so mechanical, there's no conversation and you can guess the rest when it come to the 'finale'...yuck, it's degrading..and the women acts like she loves it. I worry about people addicted to porn..do they think that's what sex is meant to be like?

THATS RIGHT, you see this....hand. Its so fucking weird...its like those bird that get fed by humans at the zoo, they don't touch the bird but put their hands in these prosthetic things,lol. Its very cold. Its almost the same with Victoria's secret. V.S. in 1997 the model was plushy, stitting in her bra and panties reading a news paper. also (on my public access show) i did a coralation between V.S. and crime scene photos (from the 1940's) ) in which female victims were posed just like the V.S. 2000's models. Its was very eerily similiar.

Yea....you know the band Evanescence? Well, Amy Lee said she doesn't want to ever reduce herself to taking off her clothes because people would think she doesn't write her own music. So yea, sex is so unoriginal that people who use it all the time are seen as conforming. I applaud women who eventually change their image around...e.g. Christina Aguilera has done some dirty videos in the past but her lastest video 'keeps getting better' or was non-sexual. It's a start, at least!

hmm yea I remember they had that show looking for the next pussycat doll...and girls were so desperate to be one. I think it just shows that society is blasé when it comes to kids and sex...OR...another theory, the producers etc want the kids to grow up accepting of sexualization so they'll support a musician's image and feel comfortable to behave like that too if they ever attained fame. hmmm.

The sad thing is they sexualze girls younger and younger. Well when they get pregnant...they have no options or support. "Abortion is wrong"...okaaay "You can't have that baby"...okaaaaay. Once they are sezualized and this happens they are completely looked down on. In South America this 9 year old girl was raped by here step dad and HAD to have an abortion or she would die. The Catholic church excommunicated the girl, her mother. the doctors. The step dad? No didn't excommunicate him. WTF??!!!

Oh yea..that story caused massive outrage here...obviously a rape isn't someones fault. However, I do think that girls that do and sleep with 5 guys a night every weekend who get pregnant should face the consequences of their actions. People need to be responsible.
