I like to think that I've always had the same thoughts as this character does, but I definitely do now. This is MY path & nobody else can alter that for me.
I feel like Caroline did. A disappointment. A wasted life, and too late to start over. This movie, and obviously this scene in particular, inspired me.
This scene change my life. After working my career for 16 years it inspired me to do what I didn't think I had the courage to do.
I gave up my job and everything i knew to a new city where I did not know a single person. 1 1/2 years later I am so glad I came. I met the love of my life who I been with for the past year, but now she feels how I did last year
I am sending her this link.
If she finds that she isn't happy, i hope she has the strength to start all over again

@sodaboy7 Well in my opinion i think slumdog was the most exciting film because of the fact thtta films like it dont come around very often, it was very excentric. but this film is the most timeless, it's more of a story dominating plot than plot dominating story unlike slumdog. but i'm willing to bet that those who have seen this and slumdog would sit through Benjamin Button more times than Slumdog. It's just a timeless film. it should have won the oscar.
Its a rare films that really touches one's feelings. I've watched Slumdog, it made me angry and sad but compared to Benjamin Button, its a comedy show. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is one of those films that really makes you reflect on your life. How you spent and will spend it. In addition that the film pops up the question, is living in this world all worth it? If so, what is there to cherish about? This film has tremendous impact to the way I look at life...
@sodaboy7 I was so upset at the lack of recognition this movie received! It's based on an incredibly beautiful short story by one of the most gifted writers of the 20th century. Fitzgerald used the most beautiful, romantic descriptions in his writings, and I think this movie captured the visual aspect of the story very well. Such a shame that many works of art are disregarded because of an award that persuades the population into thinking they should be seeing only one film based critics' views.
@Rivet2011 It's part of the soundtrack, I think this one is postcards (track 1) Alexandre Desplat is the composer. All of the album is available on limewire and on iTunes ($20).
