jaco makes my wanna scream...words dont discribe my open love for jaco...i could go on and on...its a shame i feel this way about someone i ve never meet 2:41 almost made me hollar.
This is like watching a damn Spinal Tap solo ... and I keep it close to the Hillary farting video because they hold the same artistic integrity. Maybe Jaco WAS the master, here he is Nigel Tufnell. I'll say it again ... fkn AWEFUL.

I remember seeing Jaco often in the West Village in New York City playing basketball. It was around that time he was cleaning up his life. He started dressing well, had a steady girlfriend, getting his head together. If he had not gone back to Florida that weekend and tried to get into a bar from which he had still house arrest...
thier never ben a more talinted musician, or a bigger badass in any genra of music. he could have played any instroment (even a mouth harp) and we'd be still in awe!

Yeah this was a rough time for jaco. This was two years before he died, and some of his antics in Japan for this show were a little out of control. He threw one of his basses into the bay, and he rode around naked on a bicycle...poor jaco, we miss you man
I have the other extant video from the same concert where he plays "the chicken," without his shirt on, and his body covered with grease. The music is amazing, but it's depressing (for me) to watch.
