  • 10,000 divided by 1/20,000 is 200,000,000 :3

  • 1:25 "my precious".

  • For gambling, it depends on the mentality. Go in expecting no win, play just for fun, and have no over the top competitive urge, it can be a blast to waste a few bucks at a casino. People spend just as much on video arcades these days.

  • your right but this is 2011 AFTER THE STOCK CRASH

  • Lol, you could'nt have made it any clearer.

  • people gamble everday with things more valuable then money

  • Blackjack is probably the best when it comes to the odds. Assuming the deck isnt rigged of course. People who bet on slots, poker or Roulette on the other hand are screwing themselves everytime. Casinos have a pretty easy source of money going when you think about it...

  • How come these guys don't have partnership? The universe no longer makes sense

  • Pretty much, the best betting game to play is Blackjack. Once you know how to play, it's one of the few games where you can control your probability of winning. As a mathematician, it may be easier for me than most to keep track of my probability of drawing the card I need, but once you play it enough, and there are plenty of ways to play for free, you can get okay at it.

So, don't gamble. But if you do, play Blackjack.

  • Best game to play is blackjack. And, personally, my favorite, so it's great for me!

  • "So if you keep playing (and they're betting you will), eventually you'll end up with 3% less than what you started with."

Incorrect. The 97% is per spin. Meaning you lose on average 3% of the money you put in for EVERY TIME you have the machine spin the reels... so if you keep playing you'll end up with nothing, not 97%. I make slot machines games for a living and this is the biggest misconception that helps my industry. Don't fall for it.

  • I love the "my precious" moment. :)

  • I thought you were talking about video games and I just thought "how the hell do video games waste your money?" (unless you spend more time on black ops than working.

  • hahahaha, we work togetherrrrr.

  • duh, gambling is always 50/50: either you win or you do not win.

  • You gotta know when to fold 'em.. Kenny ;)

  • How to win every time with gambling easily.

    Step 1: Open a casino.

  • I play halo. THATS gaming.

  • @TheClockwork9000 yeah. Halo's good. Xbox live, $50 bucks a year to play online, no matter how much you play, and lasts longer than poker. And if anyone wants to still play poker, play with edible chips rather than poker chips, then the worse you lose is just a small snack rather than a big stack.

  • This is 3 years old and nobody noticed he had a Die and a D6?!?!?

    DnD FTW!

  • Beezid = Casino?

  • Yeah, I hated those stupid contests as a kid. "You can't win if you don't play!" so they say, but I can sure as hell guarantee that I won't win if I do either.

He's got a point, the stock market is better because you do get returns, no matter how small. If I could get only 5, 10, or 25 cents back for my $5...that's a lot better than spending $5 on a slot machine and getting NOTHING back. We need to teach this to kids.

  • @Agent1W You don't always make money on the stock market. If you buy $100 of stock and it depreciates, it might never make you money. Say, it might end up at $80 - or the company might go bankrupt. It's just far more likely that you will make money.

  • @cpen22 The shareholders, as a collective, runs the business and tells their board what to do, particularly the bigger ones. Hopefully, that would help the business succeed and make money.

Indeed, there's always the risk of losing more than gaining, but you don't have to worry about chance. Corporations don't succeed or fail on blind luck lol.

  • Yeah, bet on the stock market! It wouldn't just fail on you would it?

I play low stakes poker for 2 reasons:

    1) I'm good enough to win more than half the time (making a profit)

    2) I ALWAYS bet only what I'm willing to lose.

At the end of the day, you look at your odds - how much do you stand to gain vs. what your chances of winning are.

  • errh i think i have a greater chance turning a profit on poker than stocks.

  • brett , i love you.

  • WQho runs the account? Him or the writers or even the camera man?

  • funny.. i asked the same question earlier..

go to their A New Kind of Rebel video..

    "they" answered this question...

  • him and his bro (camera guy) are the writiers, so until i watch this video jackie is on about, im gonna assume its them

  • u can count cards. lol

  • I sure can! 1,2,3 ... there are 52 cards in this deck!

  • hahaha. not what i meant tho. lol

  • true, but its incredibly complicated and casino owners wont be too pleased when you do it

  • @WhatYouOughtToKnow What happened with the jokers?

  • @AntelopeAteMyHand Casinos don't use the jokers do they? Thats what 'aces/dueces wild' and whatnot is for ;D

  • @WhatYouOughtToKnow Like in the movie 21 ?

  • @WhatYouOughtToKnow

Plus even if you count cards, all you can do is calculate the chances of certain cards coming up.

  • @WhatYouOughtToKnow 54 including jokers

  • Comment removed

  • @WhatYouOughtToKnow O.O What about the info card?!?!?

  • I actually can, it's fun, at least until your friends discovers your talent

  • @Changstax They still have manual shoe's in USA ?? Auto shoe's you cant count, unless you like counting the exact same card you just counted :p

  • @Changstax What are you ? 10 ?

Stop watching Casino heist movies and actually learn

  • yup. statistics. they usually make sure they win in the long run. so u can make 50 bucks but the casino makes like 100.

  • add 3 zeros onto their profit and u got a fact

  • @Changstax most people go for the experience, not trying to actually win money. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a sucker
