@MurrayHerts i have the m audio producer microphone usb. it coms with a usb driver that you have to install. after you install the drivers you go onto flstudio and change the sounddriver to your usb driver then it will work. hope this helps.

When you get to explain how you get the T-pain sound you lose me cause your not real explaining what you are doing. I got my Fruity Loops and AutoTune set up as near as yours but i cant get the effect. All I get is phasing, flanging and reverb.

Do you know many songs? It's just a very rough guess, but I'd bet at least 15% of pop songs are written in Ab or the relative minor. That's pretty good, seeing as how there are 12 major keys and their relative minors to choose from.

For those of you that want auto tune on the cheep and have Gsnap you can load it into fruity loops the same way as he described for the pay version. Just thought I qould let y'all know

theres no wet & dry setting. To make it sound more obvious you have to sing out of pitch. So record your voice and then write a midi file (all out of pitch) and connect the file to AUTO TUNE.

You may not know the root note off bat, from hearing it. But, u can simply [ress a key on the virtual or real keyboard until you get the same root...then, look at the key you've pressed and voila...that's the root note.

just use C Major, your voice wont change so much to the point where it will be noticeable that ur key is different. too much. it would be better to know the key, but its not necessary.

well look at it this way theres basically only 12 keys the song could be in since all the major keys are the same as one of the minor keys so all you have to do is try a couple out and find one that sounds good

The dry signal your hearing is the monitoring in from your m-audio card. There's prob a feature in its settings to temporary disable it. I don't have one so I don't know. When your recording you are hearing the monitor signal from both the m-audio box and fruity loops (hence the dry vocal AND the effected). When you play back you are only hearing the monitoring from fruity loops. Good luck. Any Questions feel free to ask..
