  • Nice, I taught myself to play that song around the same age, I was 9 or 10. But now I done forgot it, lol.

  • fantastic!!

  • this piece is relaxing it sounds so elegant

  • très bien !

  • this has got to be the hardest piece i have ever learned. and he's playing it at 13!!!

  • anybody can do that with money

  • Very impressive! I am just learning thie piece, myself. And it is qyite challenging. Oh, and not to sound like a snob to those refering to it as a song, but a song is sung. This is a piece.

  • I just learned that song. i love it

  • Well played !!!!!

[Although personally I like to play it more slowly and with more flexibility]

  • I don't like this song... But when Enzo play it i like it ;) I don't know why!

  • Excellent!

    My deep respect*

    You are brilliant !

    Tear

  • can he play third movement? id love to hear it =D

  • I hope you can play the 3rd mvt. of this Enzo! It's my most favorite sonata!!!

  • its not fast at all maybe slow it down just a tad bit but its excellent

  • I love this piece of music, it is so beautiful. It's my favorite. You play it wonderfully, thank you!

  • too fast in my opinion.. but taste differs

  • its still good for 10yrs. thou. Wish i could play this whole thing

  • definetely yes. btw what makes you wish but not do it?) i played it by ear cause i never learned music - everything is possible, if you have taste you can do it brilliant

  • Well, I have been teaching my self this song i do have the music. And i have been taking lessons for almost 6years. So I guess it's a time thing. I will learn it soon.

  • i don't take lessons or anything and I found quite easy to learn. with a bit of practise and determination x)

sheet music is really easy to find online for free as well.

  • wow this is so calming im mellow

    watch my vids and comment

  • It's awesome!!

  • Amazing ! =33

    Thanks =33

  • he looks like mario lopez

  • Bravo!

    Excelent!

  • great! but try to play with more feeling and less robotic... however this is excellent and great work i wish i could play like u!

  • please learn the 3rd movement!

  • I've heard this by Kempff, Gilels, Richard Goode, Perahia, Pollini, etc... this is just about as good as any performance on any major label by any major artist. I would add that the tempo is just right, not too fast or slow, but there is just the right amount of tenderness.

    B-R-A-V-O

  • @tmc359 mabye on the fast side, but still great, one of gods blessings

  • It's such a mysterious peice of music. You are amazing n you play it so well at such a young age. I love this song, thank you so much. Peeeeeace!!

  • wow, you were 10 when you played this, i'm 13, like you, now, and im currently learning this.

    ...wow. lol

  • I must say that you tube piano users are less aggressive and more respectful about their comments ( i'am a you tube guitar user and a lot of guys just hate and post some awful & disrespectful comments ).

Nice way to play the piano little enzo, in time you'll be a great Pianist.

    5 stars for this masterpiece.

  • Wonderful! Thank you for playing

  • Man thats awesome!

I am playing piano now for 7 years but i cant play as good you!

  • my spanish teacher told my class to look you up, and i must admit your pretty good

  • "You are so talented"

    From :P

    Puertta Valleta

    jk

  • great.really great.

  • Moonlight Sonata Is A Slow Song But Hard To Learn Song. But Enzo Learned It So Fast. But When He Reaches The Age Of 15 Who Knows What He Can Achieve.

  • Not bad for his age and so hard too because I know this song. Especially hard reaching a whole octave with small hands. Bravo!

  • that was great.

  • awesome!!!

  • Wow!

    Bye

    Irene

  • God bless you! You are so talented.

    from,

    Puerto Rico

  • Oh wow....you are an inspiration! Do not give up playing so long as you love it!

Might I suggest Claude De Bussy's Claire de Lune if you haven't played it. It would probably be easy for you, but it's a very beautiful song.

  • Tra tutti i pianisti che ho sentito suonare questo brano di Beethoven, Enzo è il miglior, riesce a rendere Moonlight COMPRENSIBILE e VIVA! Tanti e tanti complimenti Enzo!

  • a bit 2 fast i think

  • Cool performance... always wanted to learn that song.

Must agree with DaxB92, though... nothing personal, really... one just never knows what people are capable of doing in order to be popular...

  • very impressive... but also worrying... a kid at that age playing like this? free will? im afraid not...

  • believe it. i met a kid in college. we were like 18-20 but he was just 12 years old when he made it to music school. he loves piano, and no one forced him to learn it. besides, i am a product of meddling parents, and I never learned to play that good in piano. hehehehe....

  • what grade would this be?

  • 8th, according to my teacher, because of the expression. Technique wise, it's very easy.

  • Grade 7-8 or more.

It's a technique and dynamic piece more than a note piece.

Opposite to say Fantasy Impromptu... Which is notes/tempo/notation.

  • Very good. *_*

  • The staircases at the middle part seemed to get faster than the tempo it had at the earlier parts. Other than that, outstanding job for a 1.5 year pianist, and now more than 3 and a half years of playing.

  • OMGGG

HE STARTED LIKE 1 1/2 years ago?

and i barely passed grade 8-.-

    haaaaahahaaa

    prodigyyyyyy

  • **this peice of music

  • that guys my classmate!!!

  • Dear gghm1234,

This IS Beethoven's Piano Sonata Op.27 No. 2 "quasi una fantasia", or more popularly known as the MOONLIGHT Sonata.

  • cool :)

  • Wow! Truly An amazing child!! Not many like him and Emily Bear!!=)

  • Oh Lord, very talented. Beautiful. 5 stars.

  • o and when i meant diminishes... i meant lower notes.. not quieter.. ^_^' bad choice of word there.

  • I have this song and I can only get to the part when the left hand deminishes and then I get lost. Nice job =P

  • Ive played the piano since i was 4, almost 10 years now, and i must say this talent is a rare gift. You seem to lack true emotion, though true emotion usually comes as you get older and if you love the piece you play in a way that cannot be described through mere words. Sometimes it comes only when you have crafted the piece, and this brings me to the idea that you should start creating your own music. Keep playing whatever you like though.

~He Who Shall Be Reborn, Balyr, Norse God

  • This (Enzo) is where I go to listen to REAL music being played by REAL talents.

  • Remindsd me of Resident Evil ! LOL

    GREAT MUSIC

  • that was great.

  • Awesome :D

  • You truly are amazing. I listen to you over and over and over again. You're a huge talent.

  • Remember, you can lose it just as easily as you earned it...DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF QUITTING - This is very well done, and so are all the videos.

  • Considering you are 10 this is not that bad, but it could be played with much more feeling nd passion.

  • Wow I'm still learning the very beginning! And it's hard for me! And I'm only 10 and 11 mon. Keep getting better Enzo!

  • que barbaro!!!!!!!!!1

  • EXCELENTE Enzo, PARA TENER APENAS 10 AÑOS EN ÈSE TIÈMPO

    ANTONIO

  • I love the emotion in this! :D Great job!

  • I don't understand your comment :P you don't have to practice all day each day of the year to play like he does

  • I do not know what to say... I am hearing parts that I want to play as you ! Thats beautiful !!!

Somewhere I hear you need to grow up maybe. I do not know... You are a person where it is difficult to make comment about your playing for me .. :) I know there is something to love about you...

  • omg how many solos u can play blueyoyi.... u rox my arse out.

  • it's pretty good...but u should start whit something more simple ,and do them perfect (artistic) and then start complex songs...u have 2 elaborate them.

  • Enzo is awesome at Fur Elise and he played it when he was only 9!

  • he looks so sad : (

  • Good job, didn't do so well in terms of expression, also, don't play the other notes so loud, all of the notes are played piano except the very top note. Watch the dynamics please. Overall, you've done a pretty good jo b.

  • BEST !

  • Enzo... Dios te bendiga, chavo, y te dé muchas oportunidades para desarrollar esto que tan bien sabes hacer, artistas de verdad como tú es lo que nos hace falta en este mundo, no sé si entiendas el español pero te lo digo de todo corazón

  • Very Well my little friend, i love this song.

  • Wonderful effort and job at such a young age! Wow! This is probably one of the deepest pieces composed by Beethoven, and must take more maturity to be able to fully express it with emotion, which in time he will definitely be able to do. Thanks Young Enzo!

  • 1 or 2 comments on his songs is enough patchlindy

  • I love this!

I have to get hte notes

  • Very good, but watch Wilhelm Kempff play this piece. Try keeping all of the other notes as quiet as possible while really emphasizing the melody notes, like he does. It makes this piece sound so much better.

  • Fantastic! Excelent! Great job!!!!

  • i so need to learn how to play this piece

  • i thought he was gonna do all the movements i was goin to be so impressed if he did and piss in my pants

  • I don't know if it's in your reach, but I would love to see the third movement.

  • Pinoy yan! yeah!

  • not bad or a 10 yr old who've only been playing for 1.5yrs when this was recorded.. keep up the gd work

  • I think you have a problem

  • on the brighter side of life,if you dig this kid like me,we are sooo allll gooood.Hey! and happy too,not like those critical dead men walking.I'm gonna have pics of what I'm gonna do to em once I find the nazi bastids.

  • It's amazing that he can play this well at this age and I don't think you can expect emotion in his playing because he is only 10 years old. I have been playing the piano myself since I was 7 years old and I can guarantee you that I have been playing with emotion since I was at least 16 or 17 years old. It takes time to FEEL the music, and it's even harder with classical music because it's often so emotional. So I think the emotion will come when this boy gets older. Keep on the good work!

  • you are a big fat jealous dick head w/no fuckin talent.I know this cause I had this kid's thing at six and sang two times at carnegie hall w/the Corpus Christi Choir and went to NYC opera where I met dick head no talents like you.I'm 50 now and a semi retired jewish carpenter that wants to kick your nazi ass into oblivion.

  • jealous cunt

  • not all jews have $,I used to, but my shiksa x-wife got it.If I still had it you would probably be correct. You could loan me the $ for the ass kicking quest, and I can start w/you.I will pay you back w/the highest interest, and aid in your recovery w/a nice chicken soup. Now you go play w/your nazi friends.

  • sirrah3000

WTHeck? why are you talking about Jews?

  • What bugs me is the people who usually complain about lack of expression should be complaining here, when clearly the boy isn't enjoying what he is doing... there's no devilishness, no creativity, it's flat. Nobody is that talented to that level, this kid was most likely made practice

  • holy **** in 1 1/2 years he's that good 8| no way i dont believe it.... lol

  • I would have too disagree..I do feel a little emotion. Maybe it's because when ever I hear this song, i think of hard times.

  • behind him is a book by clementi.. hhaha i miss that book in the philipines

  • Truly amazing.

  • Give him a break he was only ten. I'm six years older than him and still suck dynamics.

  • Maybe the problem is on your end.

  • The voice in the middle is way to loud. Actually the high voice (the main voice) has to be the loudest one. After that the bass octave. In addition the pice is played too fast. This is not the way it´s ment to be.

  • smartypants!

  • replay to florian5193

  • not bad, slightly fast and you forced a few notes which took away from the emotion the piece is supposed to display, but good for the most part especially for your age

  • sereis inutiles... no sta tocando -.-

  • thats pretty good

  • Ur were already very good here and yes medyo mabilis pero u nailed nevertheless. Good job.

  • now u cant be one of those kids who always say "I wish my rents made me play more piano when i was a kid." Great job on all of your songs

  • criticism coming from people who probably cant play half as good as this kid, and he's only 10!

  • Man if u only did the 3rd movement. But otherwise ur a magnificient u make my eyes water.

  • Too fast.

    666

  • criticism is good, it was a little bit fast, lower the tempo, otherwise bravo

  • Not only too fast for that Largo. But the understanding of that piec is completely out of the pèrception of that little boy.

I donñt say he has or not talent. Just give him a different piece suitable for his level.

    666

  • See him perform the flight of a bumble bee and see how he can play fast as he could...

SUITABLE FOR HIS AGE WTF!!! z666z666z

  • This is a beauteful song which is easy to learn, when I was 8 I played this song, and well done Enzo!

  • a child's untainted perception of beauty. very well done

  • You are too good!!

  • This music is so beautiful. I tried learning to play it. Unfortunately, I only got halfway through the song.

  • Wow very good!!! I am learning to play this at the moment.. (:

  • bravo!!!! he is s0 good..can u help me where 2 find a pian0 piece 0f this?

  • wow I learned this after at least three years of playing. this is really enchanting.

I just hope that everyone observes besides the obvious errors that the octave in the right hand should be played so that there is no apparent doubling of that note and only the top note is heard. still this is a marvel nonetheless.

  • How old are you? it took me 2 months and it was my very first song using both hands. Anyway Im 17; guess this counts...

  • eur3KKa: I reckon you can't pull off some of the other stuff Enzo does, like Flight of the Bumblebee. Enzo's amazing.

  • Im quite sure you didnt carefully read what I said. I srtongly suggest you read my response, since it is not even directed to Enzo. Cheers Emp989.

  • Your response was directed at sheilafufu23. He's saying that it took him three years to learn the sonata, and you said it only took you two months to learn it. I was just a bit annoyed, because it was just an arrogant thing to write, that's all. No offense.

  • Well, I thought it was a bit arrogant thing to be pointing out all the "obvious" mistakes Enzo did. I do get you. I dont think that sort of info is necessary; Im sure she is no Mozart.

  • exelente !!

  • Very elegant tempo you chose: Bravo!

I hope you learn the other two movements because that would be awesome to see "live." :-)

The third movement would probably set the piano on fire :-D lol

  • dude you are awesome...maybe you should come to America and play? the opportunities here may be greater.

  • 3rd movements the killer...like to hear that

  • Holy crap, he got this good in just a year and a half?! Incredibly talented.

  • awesome

  • Excellent! IMO you played it at a very optimal speed, if not at the right one. Great job! Would love to see other performances of yours!!

  • you are a genius . it's amazing

    where you study exactly?
