@FlatulousMaximus They actually look the same. In fact, regardless of what a patient claims the wound to be (spider bite or infection), doctors will treat the wound as a staph infection. Most "spider bites" are indeed staph infections whether people know it or not.

you should have seen a doctor before it got this bad. it could have potentially killed you. i got bitten by a brown recluse, a type of venomous spider, and the only reason im still alive is cause my aunt and uncle, who are doctors, saw it before it got past the scab stage, and got me the meds i needed.
