yep. I have an emerson 720p and play blu ray through my ps3. Dark Knight looks amazing. I went with 720p because it's a 32'' plus most games are in 720p. I hardly notice a difference between 720p and 1080p

I have a program called "YouTube Downloader HD" and when the video is 1080p it will let you download it in 1080p, but if you choose the 1080p download option, and it's NOT 1080p, and instead 720p, then it will only let you download the 720p version (Naturally)

720 is basically the same as 1080 when watching it at this size....unless you have a huge computer monitor....but when it's a small picture, it makes very little difference having the extra pixels squeezed in. 1080p should be watched on 40+ inches.

I have a 23" Widescreen LCD 1920 x 1080p for my desktop PC, and the difference between 720p and 1080p on an HDMI cable and a capable video card is just as noticeable as on a 50"+ screen. I have run many tests, and the difference is night and day, once you view 1080p, whether viewing still wallpapers for the desktop, movies on Blue Ray, or online broadband streaming and downloads. Since you are sitting up close at a desktop, 1080p causes less eyestrain, also for large screens in small rooms.

ist ein blue ray transfer das master ist unglaublich scharf und es macht ein grossen unterschied ob man in 720p oder in 1080i seine filme anbietet auf youtube. 1080 filme kann man erkennen wenn oben und unten immer noch schwarze balken sind.aso meine filme lade ich in DivX hoch nicht in MPEG4
