Such a pure, clean and beautiful voice! Too bad she doesn't quite have those powerhouse vocals anymore (although I do enjoy the "I Look To You"-album a lot), now her voice is best for radio friendly uptempo songs and not so much ballads like she used to do. But this here is Whitney's voice at her best definitely. Classic timeless song! :)

Drugs ruined her voice more than aging did. You can only smoke crack and sniff coke for so long before your body begins to give out and die. You've got a few months at best before a noticeable change occurs. Whitney did hard drugs for years.

I love the ending of this version, it goes on a bit longer and Whitney starts adlibbing with a growl in "you wanna dance, I wanna dance" and then the third one came out so funny that she cracked herself up!! She just bursts out in laughter and sing the last line, God Love Her!!!!
