  • When they start going to quarters, eighths, and sixteenths, you gotta keep getting getting ALL the air out on each and every exhale. Most of why you're feeling faint is probably because you're only getting some of your air out and it's building up over the course of the exercise. You still might get dizzy if you do this, but it'll be WAY better.

    Also, during the exercise at 7:13, I always feel faint here. Am I doing something wrong, or am I just not used to the exercise yet?

  • @SweetlyDissonant i can say that i used to get veery light headed and faint with that exercise also but the more you do the exercises the less dizzy you will become :)

  • We use the breathing gym in band and track its an awesome system

  • For anyone watching this, I totally recommend the breathing gym. I am a music major in college and all of my excellent directors have used the breathing gym. If you do the breathing gym for a few minutes a day, you will notice a drastic difference. This is a must for people in marching band, though of course it is also great for all other music styles.
