i have asus p5e Mobo,Intel e4700 (2.6 ghz) cpu overclocked to 3,52 multiplier x13,dont see any problems unless my cpu is working 100% for rendering the vid in sony vegas only then it restarts so i downclock it abit and yeah its all good ,never had problems in games cos they dont stress my cpu 100% for couple of hours that i play unlike sony vegas which needs couple of hours to render vid making the cpu work on the edge
You shouldn't need so much voltage for 3.0 ghz. That chip should do 3.0 at stock or close to stock voltage. Try this: fsb 400 x 8 multi with 1.35 in bios. That should be stable... and if it is you could probably bump the voltage down further. This is of course if you haven't gone through this process already. I would always recommend you find what your chip can do without changing voltage. That's def kinda high... but I have a d0 revision. Not sure what yours is. Remember stress test your OCs!
@Ippe111 indeed ! i think thats why you cant get it past the 3.0 :) q6600 has 9x multiplier wich you can overclock to 3.6 ghz cause this board support 1600mhz front bus speeds :)

@TheHat3z Actually, that should be shown in the video. It is just a setting in the bios like the rest of them.

@1:45 it seems like you actually managed to underclock it by 400mhz (core speed at 2Ghz) as multiplier is set wrong :)
