Also, one last thing: If you can get your hands on Sony Vegas, you can make it LOOK more interesting. It's what I used for montages, and it's got some great transitions and with a bit of practice, awesome effects.

Just don't go full-retard with it and go overboard with the effects; going overboard is really annoying.

Sorry if this is offensive, the montage isn't that bad, but it could use a LOT of work. Check out some halo montages as well.

I don't mean to be mean, honestly. Time cool events with powerful moments in songs. Like when he says "BOOM!" make that a kill, then cut to another kill on "BOOM!". Preferably with grenades or something, since that's fitting. It's just little stuff like that that keeps montages interesting.

Comments fixed. Have to break up the post. Anyway, the editing is pretty amateurish (at best; no editing around the song at all, transitions bland, etc. The game is pretty lackluster in general, so if you want a montage to be exciting, like they're supposed to be, you have to doctor it up ALOT, as the gameplay is... so dull).

Check out some good CS/CSS montages to see what I mean.

@neverent To clear up confusion, I was in beta for the duration of the entire thing... and we brought up so many issues for so long; but the failed to address most of them. We KNEW they were focusing too much on customization and not focusing on gameplay, but alas, we have APB as it is -- a shiny, polished turd. It's got the quality of a F2P MMO, but actually requires a sub.

I'm not sure how you find it fun (have you played for more than a month?)

God damn I wish APB was good, it had so much potential.. but they spent all their budget (in the top ten most expensive games of all time) on just customization. Sad story.
