  • @MadiBRocks hey one thing y did u comment like 4 times on a 6th grade science rap?

  • we understand nothing

  • Good job! I am a Mandrin speaker. I was a engineering student. I understand what you say without problem.

  • Check out "White Girl Speaks Chinese Part 2: Seminar.at SJTU"

  • Oh my god, please take down this video. All you're doing is reading the pin yin directly and you're not pronouncing a single word correctly; this video makes the Chinese language seem stupid and exactly like what those prejudiced people say to Asians: "the ching chong ling long" shit. This is extremely demeaning to Chinese people because our language sounds absolutely beautiful if pronounced right; please don't try to imitate it in any way when you don't know how to.

  • sh reading, fuck

  • nice video!!!

  • COOL! I LOVE PEOPLE DOING THIS! ITS SO CUTE LOL

  • Good! very good! but your accent is noticeable! Hearing your voice, people may assume that you're an American which is not bad.

  • that's not cantonese..that's madarin..and not bad..just need to be work hard on the tune

  • it's cantonese

  • @hexonite no its not

  • 老呀.....

  • no it doesn't mean it ~ all i could hear u pronounce was lalalalalalala

  • when you're speaking it. tones are really important. your stopping point is a bit mess up. just saying..

  • I SPEAK CHINESE , BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT WERE U SAID.......

  • @usermax100 Chinese is one language with many different dialogues. That's what my Chinese professor said.

  • i study Civil Engineering..but i think my English is better than your Chinese. you still need to work hard on it.... But anyway, why these days Mechanical engineers tends to study the biological stuff. You should study how to make airplanes or weapons to destroy our civilisation. @_@

  • @lkj17 What they really come after us later? We will be bombed! Where can we hide? I blame you.

  • @ChineseGuyInMelody what are you talking about? I just say Mechanical Engineer should not study biology. They should study something like air-dynamics or robotic programming etc. Like our civil engineers should never study timber engineering. Those are just too stupid....

  • There is no chinese language, you stupid "US American". There is cantonese, madarin and others.

  • 什么药品广告?

  • WORSE.....

  • damit, this is mandarin not chinese.

  • its sooo baaaaad, so slow and the tones sound awful

  • @trendkill42088 C'mon man give her a break! Chinese is hard for native English speakers BUT not impossible! I've seen better Cantonese speakers on youtube but i'm just sayin' give her a break.

  • HOLY CRAP. Dude I'm a chinese and don't even speak chinese.

  • @sk8er9al dude , no worries man , i speak fluent chinese n i dont even understand what shes saying , her tone is off

  • Very good!

  • I think you have better luck learning the less annoying mandarin like taiwanese or hong kong mandarin

  • @spike378 but I think she is smart enought to master Cantonese very well

  • @spike378 But I know you would say no sir, wouldn't you?..

  • @spike378 Hong Kong mandarin? They speak cantonese in Hong Kong retard....

  • @Veneratio10 re-read u lower form of life.

  • we learn cantonese just so we can get to know more hong kong managers, we learn mandarin so we can use almost a billion chinese people for some real low life work

  • But def I am not a perfect person, I advocate sinic-Euro marriages, since white folks are taking so many Chinese girls, we are in an era of fair trading, so I love White ladies so much..however when I see few Chinese girls with Indians, I am not in melody at all..what do you people think?

  • @georgewu5 watch?v=tkaYjKbqS-c&feature=related.

Why I cant post the whole link?

  • @georgewu5

but I definitely know you are not a small picture thinker too..but also, in all the dialects, Cantonese could be the hardest,7 to 9 tones to handle

  • @georgewu5 See George?I know you are Cantonese too, and you are in your 70s.according to the Cantonese way, I should respect you as UNCLE George) the beauty here including this lady herself is that, it is not about living..it is about the WHOLE picture..see this special Cantonese girl.

  • Chinese is a race , the language she speaks is mandarin

  • @kailoonthedog chinese is not a race silly, its a nation its people and their languages (cantonese, mandarin etc)

  • What is the big deal here? I am a registered architect in New York for the past 42 years, and I have been speaking English only since I was 19 years old, I was originally from Hong Kong. Before 1956, I could not speak a sentence of English. So do you ever wonder why a yellow face Chinese could speak English so well to make a living for over half a century ? So why should you be surprised that a white girl could speak a couple words in Chinese? !!!! George Wu, AIA 2011-10-10

  • Lastly, in conclusion, I am proudly Cantonese as usual..in humility.

  • I am stubborn

  • and GOOD is GOOD

  • I have no idea how I got here, but at least I now know there exists a real-life Kaylee Frye!

  • We Cantonese are the British of China..even Asia..Japanese culture and Hongkongese culture can integrate the most.

  • I just cant withstand the people who harshly criticise her..so if you are native Mandarin..then I would ask you whether you can speak English very well..or can you even understand Cantonese?..No Cantonese?..no?..

  • @ChineseGuyInMelody I think people who ARE fluent in both would appreciate the work that goes into learning a new language to fluency... :) She IS hard to understand, but not bad. :)

  • @nikumakimaki what if fluentcy in THREESOME buddy? No, she is GOOD.

  • @ChineseGuyInMelody Threesome? You're kidding me, right? If you mean three languages, I actually am fluent in two and proficient in one more, but that is besides the point.

If you hadn't misunderstood my previous comment, you would have realized I was agreeing with you.

  • @nikumakimaki Yes, I got it..and you may be Cantonese too?..

  • wow. the way you say it is cute. lol

  • Understandable, but still pretty bad.

  • How did you learn Chinese? Is it very hard? Can you learn in a few months?

  • @sinsagoodmansbrother not really, it isn't that hard, its just lots of studying and practicing, toughest part is tones, the fastest I know you can learn it is the military language school, otherwise 2 to 3 years of college chinese classes, I'm in my second year, and i'm still considered basic, but it slowly gets easier if you keep studying it, but like I said, the tones and grammar are tough, but doable

  • fail

  • i don't understand a word she says...very heavy engish accent..can only picks up some words if i listen very carefully...she hv to improve on her pronunciation..

  • Meh. She's not that cute.

  • damn, no wonder i couldn't understand anything, those were some seriously complex sentences. I can just understand basic day to day stuff...

  • 不错啊~~ I think you did a good job ^_^ I hope you ignored some of the earlier comments and continued with your language study. 加油!加油!

  • pay bit more attention to build up the right accent ,but still u speaks very good

  • very cool project

  • very cool project

  • Dam how long did it take to get to this level of fluency? By now your command of the language must be even better.

  • who knows, maybe she invented the words????

  • Pleeeease lets make loveeeee hahahahahaha

  • You're awesome, KaralSpiller. I home my own kid turns out to be as smart, curious and forward looking as you are. Have a wonderful life.

  • I'm interested in your project about the gel replacing damaged cartilage. How did that go? Does this work with people with arthritic knees suffering frequent pain? I'd really like to know.

  • i'll have the same..with a little bit of duk sauce on the side please

  • sounds like she would memorize some weird alphabet

  • @VacuumJacket yeah i totally agree with u

  • Gotta work on her tones but not bad :)

  • @lyricalfloe HAHAHAHA. My gosh! Your parents should know that they must take you to the psycologist SOON! You have some serious self confident issues. useless fat person?? Shame on you! Sad of you. You must be a very very sad person. Sorry. Hope you get better soon! Look for help!

  • @lyricalfloe Well... since you must be around 12 years old let me tell you that if any foreigner that moves to china can speak very fluent within only a few years. She is an engineer...which means she SURE is very smart. When you grow up, if you go to college, you will understand. Your dumb statement is like saying..."if you are asian you can´t speak good english ever"

  • Comment removed

  • i`m gonna translate , she said : hello guys

  • No, thanks. I don´t have any interest on watching you criticize other ppl in different languages. You don´t seem nice at all. In stead of encouraging foreiners to learn chinese you go and act like you are the judge on other´s skills and looks. Mean girls like you, are normally very sad and negative ppl. No interest on you, but congrats on all of your languages.

  • Awesome!

  • u arent very fluent....also not really preety...but try harder

  • @Bianca16797 What a hater!! What´s wrong with you? She is very young, an engineer and speaks great chinese. You should be happy for her, not jealous! Try to love yourself a little bit more because you wouldn´t speak like that if you didn´t have so many COMPLEXES!!! Work on that, girl!

  • @WoAiNijuan your probably going to lie and say you are chinese but i have the right to say that her chinese isnt very fluent even compared to the native speakers....what makes u think im jealous of this white girl???and fyi,,,chinese is my second language...and i know malaysian and korean too....do u want me to post a video of myself speaking chinese and other languages to prove that i can???

  • @Bianca16797

Holy shit. Just what nationality are you? No Chinese isn't reserved for certain peeps. I'm Chinese. Of course it's hard for non-natives to learn Chinese. Fuck, most people who speak Cantonese can't even speak Mandarin properly, so how do you expect a fucking foreigner to speak fluently? Chinese is hard, even for me. The immense vocabulary. If they want to learn leave them be. I don't care if you know 8 languages, can you speak fluently at first? I can though.

  • @Samhiuys Erm I am a mixed raced white-asian but i was born in singapore a south east asian state where 75% of the population speak chinese and the most spoken language there is chinese my parents want me to be a linguist and have been training me to speak many languages since i was young

  • @WoAiNijuan and most of the white people who put up videos of themselves speaking chinese are much more fluent than this white girl....and alot of them are even better than some chinese people.....unlike this girl....it is kinda stupid to post a video of yourself speaking the hardest language in the world when u arent very fluent.....chinese is reserved for peeps that can speak many types of languages....especially other asian langugaes

  • @Bianca16797 Chinese is reserved for certain peeps?? WHAT AN IGNORANT STATEMENT TO MAKE!! why do have such a close mind and brag about it??? Damn! I´m moving to Singapore in a month and I hope I find more open minded than you. You might speak 8 languages if you say so, but you SURE ARE IGNORANT and mean. If you loved yourself a little more you wouldnt feel the need to come out here and be so critical with the ppl who are trying hard to learn asian languages.

  • @Bianca16797 Jealous much? I mean, at least she is there and what about you? Probably monolingual.

  • @ZekeComa oh oh oh u really make me laugh.......chinese is my second language........wtf do u know about me????nothing........u didnt even ask how do i know she isnt fluent???so stfu.......and i know cantonese and korean and malaysian too.......monolingual????LMFAO.....i can post a video of myself speaking chinese and other languages i know.......

  • @Bianca16797 prove it.

  • @Bianca16797 Please post a video so I can see your face and, if I see you in Australia or Singapore, I know I should not talk to you!

  • @WoAiNijuan if i really post a video of yourself then u are only going to bash me.........so what if u come to where i live?????i am a nice person but i dont like people like this girl and the other girl who is MisNatt85.....it shouldn't even be your problem that i hate people who act like they are fluent in chinese or asian wannabes etc......u must be not fluent in chinese or an asian wannabe thats why u act like u have a huge problem with me

  • @WoAiNijuan but i am nice to people and not some peeps who act like they are fluent in chinese or are asian wannabes...and what makes u think that if u came to australia or singapore i would definetly bump into you????and i dont go to areas that tourists go to like that often so even if u come to australia or singapore and im there too it is unlikely u would bump into me....for now ill be nice to you....if u leave me alone and not try to stop me from hating fluent in chinese wannabes

  • @WoAiNijuan or asian wannabes or from hating other people or arguing with other people

  • @Bianca16797 I presume that when you "learned" Cantonese, you instantly spoke it perfectly on your first try with no tonality issues whatsoever? Stop attempting to sound intelligent, stop claiming you know multiple languages when you refuse to provide proof ("I won't post a video because you'll just bash me" translates to "I was lying and I don't want to admit it"), and stop bashing a girl for her mistakes in Chinese when you can't even use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation in English.

  • not too bad...im sure u pick it up in no time if u put in effort..

  • good job

  • cute

  • I think you can read and write Chinese very well, but you need to improve your speaking. Don't worry about those who insult you, they are just stupid.

  • @wingsmanx5

Her teacher MIGHT be from beijing. Learning pu tong wha is best from a beijing teacher or nanjing.

But I have friends from all over china and its funny to hear different dialect. example.

Haosure VS Haotsui one is shanghai dialect the other is normal beijing pu tong wha.

  • @lyricalfloe What is the point to insult her? She is a foreigner of course she doesn't speak good Chinese, I think she is a smart girl, she will learn to speak better.

  • good trying :D

  • Can you translate this?? Just the beginnings, copy paste to youtube:

"FREE MONSTER TOURS BEATS!! CHINESE TRANSLATION NEEDED!! CHINA!!"

  • There is no such language as chinese thats mandarin

  • @kivaEmperor, eww ur comment wa completely unnecessary

  • Excellet!

  • I almost totally don't understand what you are talking about except for the last sentence. But nice try.

  • Although I don't understand a single word you are saying because your pronunciation is very poor, but keep up the good work. Practice more! :)

  • 听不懂你说话

  • LOL my gosh, the audio translation was very funny

  • the Chinese proper noun what you talk is too difficult .

even than Chinese general people can't understand

  • Seriously I don't understand what you say, but I believe you can read Chinese very well, I think you need a Chinese boyfriend to teach you speaking better Chinese, if you like please write to me.

  • @wingsmanx5 i dont think this is ur chance to audition for a chinese boyfriend or anything man.

  • nihao mofakaz

  • i thinkl your pronounciation sucks a bit, but nice try

  • I come from china, and i speak Chinese, but i have no idea what you are talking about. You need to work harder on it before you can speak it correctly, sister.

  • you sound ..like you...forgot...ur fuckin...lines!

    jeff ross quote

    谢谢

  • @ElectrikSheepz yeah youre right...her tonality is not correct

  • lol

  • this is mandarin, not Chinese.

  • Mostly fluent but there is a fair amount of a non-Chinese accent and a weird accent.I think you should practice to be more and more fluent.

  • @Bianca16797 Why don´t you put your efford on other things in stead of making 200 comments on this girls video? You mustn´t have many friends. Why don´t you leave this girl alone and MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS??? Many you should look for profesional help to deal with your anger issues, girl. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!

  • haha cool

  • If your Chinese is good enough you would understand what she say perfectly, it's not that hard to understand... This is a real Test for your Chinese listening skills lol. Good job girl!

  • 中文要加油 0.0

  • Doesn't flow right..

  • i'm really impressed when any non-native chinese speaker can actually get their han yu pin yin right as it makes no sense to anybody foreign to the language. we have learnt it since young that's why it's much easier. just want to tell you that i am impressed. and keep working hard cause you need much more motivation once you're at a certain level! so good luck

  • love you!

  • why don't you say something easier.

  • beautiful

  • 加油!

  • thanks for killing my langouge...

  • 為什麼你們都喜歡強調"White girl/boy"講中文?不直接說"Foreigners"???

  • @toro55668888 因为他们不一定拍录音的时候在中国。她如果在自己祖国的话,那就不是外国人。。。你才是外国人!

  • Hey Shadow, get over yourself. Nobody cares that you got an A in grade school English, or the fact that your "proud" to be Chinese. Kara can post whatever the hell she wants. It's funny how half the people ragging on her cant even either A. Spell worth crap, or B. Speak either language their fluent in......fluently. You did fine Kara. I lived in Asia for a couple years and I'm almost done graduating in Engineering so I could understand what you were trying to get at. Keep it up-

  • @23skizzy Which language did you mean? English? Or Chinese? I speak both. I'm not saying anything about the fact you're trying to learn Chinese - by all means do so, but the fact so much brouhaha has been shed on western people who can speak Chinese is hugely unfair and completely insulting to Chinese people who can speak English fluently.

  • WHY is it that when Chinese people demonstrate their perfect English, no one cares. and then when white people speak in.... whatever language that was, we're supposed to act all impressed? I mean I'm Chinese (and proud), English is my first language, it's my best subject (straight A* grade for more than a year), and I can speak it better than most people in America, and yet I don't see myself posting videos speaking 'nonchalantly' in English. So why the hell are you doing so?

  • @Sh4d0wQu33n dude, you so touchy - did you ever think about the difficulty level? like, english is well easy… german is fairly difficult and chinese is like; 'wtf'… so why should white americans/europeans be impressed with chinese speaking english fluently?

  • @GotLove4MyShoes Um.. because English isn't easy? If you study the roots of English you will find many inconsistencies that are caused by the fact the language has a ridiculous number of origins. To a foreigner trying to learn English, it is indeed a 'wtf' moment. I say Chinese is way easier to learn, it being both the oldest and the most commonly spoken language in the world. Besides, I'm not asking you to be impressed; I just feel the imbalance in attention is completely unfair.

  • @Sh4d0wQu33n let me assure you… MODERN english IS easy to learn. I myself had to learn it when i moved to England/GB. I was born in Germany and lived there for 16 years, so german is my first language. It took me about 2 years to be fluent in English and I did try and learn Chinese for a while, which is far more difficult, considering the chinese way of writing O.o So please don't act all smart, I think I know better than you… 'been there, done it'… as they say

  • @GotLove4MyShoes So if I've successfully mastered both, does that make much of a difference in your mind? As a child, I was a late learner and I had to go over both English and Chinese almost every day. I still say Chinese was easier to learn, but I respect that as a pictorial language, it may have be hard for a German to learn it... It's kind of late where I am so I'd like to leave this behind us if I may - this isn't really the type of conversation one should usually initiate over Youtube...

  • @Sh4d0wQu33n but still… you are chinese and chinese is your first language, neither chinese nor english were my first languages. just accept the fact that foreigners like me who had to learn both languages know better how difficult it really is than a native…

  • @Sh4d0wQu33n I don't doubt that you can speak better than most Americans since you memorized it perfectly from a text book. However you need to remember that English is a universal language. I lived in Shangahi and got around speaking pratically no Mandarin, usually I was able to find someone that spoke English to assist me. Point is you'll have a harder time finding someone that is non-Chinese speaking Mandarin than you will someone non American(British or Canadian) speaking English.

  • wow ur pretty good lol

  • hehe 挺好玩的哦

  • wtf, she speak better better then most chinese ourselves.
