THe game was a giant failboat of titanic proportions. It is now on a 2 year journey to try and bring it back from the brink of shutting down the servers because SE does not want to contemplate admitting the game was half baked and just scrapping 13 to make a new FF mmo with a new team. They are using a new team but changing the game at some fundamental levels.

@epiclyawesomeguy 12,99 a month for one character, each additional character cost an additional 3 bugs (you get oenhelpers char for free with each character you pa for) But you only need one character in this game, since jobs are interchangable and you don't lose your level if you decide to suddenly go roll mage or something like that, jsut put on mage cloths and your skills change automaticly.

@MartinNFLFalcon dude it's an MMORPD, how can it be turn based? ^^ It works just like any other MMORPG when it comes to fighting, except the manu is a little different and you don't have a bar with skill, but rather those buttons like your used to from console FF games where you click a catagorie and choose a spell to cast it. You can make makros though so you won't have to search everytime just to find a spell.

This is a game i'll not play, i don't know why i should pay, ppl might say it's for servers but there are some other ways to pay for that, like other MMO using shops or items. @TarjaKingdom2012 Yeah and it's expensive as fuck, this is how it works: YOu pay your normal 12,99, but you can only create one character, each other character cost an additional 3 bugs, you get one "helpers chara" for each Char you create for free (for bank stuff and so on) But that's not to bad, in this game you only need one character, because your jobs aren't permanent, you can switch them around (without losing the level you have) pretty cool actually.

You can't compare a game's like this if you don't see full details, and mmorpg's are something you have to play for a long time to get those details. So I'll say World of Warcraft is good, so are a tun of other mmorpg's, FF14 is one in the questioning at the moment so no one should be saying it's better. So what if they may be in bata, bata doesn't mean a thing due to the fact the entire game my change after bata.
